Date Posted: 14/04/11
One of the UK's most popular rock bands are hitting the road again later this year with four special dates around the country.
Deep Purple will entertain fans at the SECC & Clyde Auditorium on Saturday November 26th, before moving on to perform in front of those booking Birmingham hotels with a gig at the LG Arena on Sunday November 27th.
Manchester's MEN Arena is the next stop two days later, before finishing off at The O2 in London on Wednesday November 30th.
Deep Purple were formed over 40 years ago and have had a number of top hits, including Smoke on the Water, Space Truckin', and My Woman From Tokyo.
They have sold over 100 million albums across the world so far, and a new one is planned for next year, having had their last release in 2005 with Rapture of the Deep.
Fans wanting to see the band in live action could check out their live DVD Live At Montreaux, which was filmed in 2007.
