Dearbhla Molloy to play Hecuba in The Trojan Women

Dearbhla Molloy has been confirmed to play Hecuba in an adaptation of The Trojan Women, from award-winning poet Caroline Bird.
Those on short breaks to London next month will be able to catch a performance when it opens at the capital's Gate Theatre on Thursday, November 8th.
It runs until Saturday, December 15th, and also stars Louise Brealey, Sam Cox, Lucy Ellinson and Jon Foster, with guests able to take in the captivating storyline which is set in the aftermath of the Trojan war.
Hecuba, a fallen Trojan queen, waits to see how her life unfolds in a climate where Greeks' lust for revenge is all around, a role which Molloy will be eager to try her hand at.
Her stage career his littered with top performance, including roles in Lindsay Posner's Death And The Maiden, Sam Mendes' The Plough And The Stars and the Trevor Nunn-directed show, Juno And The Paycock.
