Curtain to fall on Chicago on September 1st
Date Posted: 16/07/12

Fans of Chicago will only have until Saturday, September 1st 2012 to visit London to see the show, before the curtain finally falls on the 15 year run.
The show which is currently resident at the Garrick Theatre has taken over £120 million at the box office during its tenure in the capital and is one of only a handful of musicals to have enjoyed such a lengthy run.
It has also proved one of the most successful stage show revivals, having featured a range of celebrities to take on roles in the performance over the years.
Some of the better known stars include David Hasselhoff, Denise Van Outen, America Ferrara, Ashlee Simpson and Brooke Shields.
"Running 15 years has been a dream come true," producer Barry Weissler said. "We may be taking our 'parting shots' for now, but the Razzle Dazzle will never fade!"
The show opened in 1997 with an original cast featuring Ruthie Henshall, Ute Lemper, Henry Goodman and Nigel Planer.
