Chef Tony Leck Swaps Guernsey for Brighton

If you’re planning to stay in one of the many hotels in Brighton around Monday July 14th your taste buds could be in for a real treat.

Renowned Guernsey chef Tony Leck, who is usually cooking up a storm in the kitchen of The Pavillion, will be heading to the mainland for a special day of culinary delights.

Leck will whip up a selection of dishes using outstanding ingredients from Guernsey in The Ginger Pig in Brighton, as part of the International Chef Exchange event.

His menu is mouthwatering, featuring Guernsey crab and seabass, cheese from Torteval and Rocquette cider, among other things.

It’s a great opportunity to try some of the delicious produce that the Channel Islands has to offer and Leck has even been recognised for his dedication to using local ingredients by being named Guernsey Ambassador of the Year.

Even if you miss out on his appearance in Brighton, you can still check out what The Ginger Pig has to offer if you’re planning to visit the city at another time. The restaurant serves up tasty yet affordable dishes using a wide variety of ingredients to create unusual meals that will tantalise your taste buds.
