Check out the Ocean Film Festival in Exeter this October
Date Posted: 11/07/14
Devon is a great place to be if you like learning about the sea and its many inhabitants, with some of the UK's finest beaches being located in the county. However, once the summer ends and autumn begins, you'd be a fool to take the plunge and brave the chilly waters - which is why it's best to explore the depths from a safe distance, such as behind a cinema screen.
On October 1st, visitors to the Exeter Corn Exchange will have the opportunity to do just that, as the venue will be hosting the Ocean Film Festival. Featuring a number of stunning documentaries that showcase the amazing beauty and power of the ocean, this really is sure to be a fascinating and awe-inspiring event.
Among the documentaries set to be shown as part of the festival is an award-winning surf film called Immersion, which contains footage of some of the world's finest surfers while also providing an insight to the science behind the sport.
If you happen to be enjoying a short break in Devon this October, make sure you don't miss this amazing cinematic experience!
