Former Men Behaving Badly actress Caroline Quentin has been named in the cast of Pippin, which is currently playing at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
Those booking London theatre breaks will be able to see her take on the role of Berthe between Tuesday January 10th and Saturday January 22nd when she takes over from Louise Gold.
Quentin will be joining a cast which includes Harry Hepple, Ian Kelsey, Matt Rawle, Frances Ruffelle and Carly Bawden.
As well as her television appearances, Quentin has built up an impressive CV of theatre credits, including starring in Life After Scandal, The London Cuckolds, Our Country's Good and Low Level Panic.
Pippin tells the story of the title character, who is heir to the throne of Charlemagne and ventures on a journey of self-discovery, leaving him to face up to warfare, love, politics and religion.
While Quentin takes over in the middle of January, Pippin has been running since Tuesday November 22nd, and will stay in residence at the Chocolate Factory until Saturday February 25th.
