British Grand Prix less than a month away
Date Posted: 11/06/12
The biggest event on the British racing car calendar, the 2012 Silverstone Grand Prix, is less than a month away.
Formula 1 fans should book short breaks to the racing circuit between Friday, July 6th and Sunday July 8th in order to catch the practices, qualifying and the race proper.
McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button will be fighting it out to finish in first place on home turf. But they will also be facing stiff competition from the likes of Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber.
Last year's Silverstone GP was won by Alonso, with Vettel and Webber completing the podium.
The Canadian GP took place this weekend and Lewis Hamilton took his third victory on Canadian soil, his first for the 2012 season. Romain Grosjean and Sergio Perez finished second and third, respectively.
Silverstone has been the circuit of choice for the British GP since 1987, and it will remain so until at least 2026.
