Bristol to hold Europe’s biggest Vegfest
Date Posted: 23/04/14
Vegetarians can revel in the fact that from May 23rd to 25th, the city of Bristol will be holding Europe’s biggest veggie festival.
VegfestUK will take place at the Bristol Amphitheatre and celebrate all things veggie and vegan by providing a wide array of pop-up food stalls and eateries. It is expected to attract up to 20,000 people across the weekend.
The festival will feature everything from veggie sushi and paella to spicy Indian curries and Caribbean stews, enabling vegetarians to delight in dishes that they may not often get the chance to try.
The food stalls will be complemented with a number of talks, workshops and short films detailing the benefits of a plant-based diet.
Add this to plenty of live entertainment from music to comedy and games and it’s set to be a great weekend for both veggie and meat-eaters.
Tickets cost £3 at the gate and under 16s go free. Why not make a short break of your visit to the festival and book yourself into a Bristol hotel?
