Date Posted: 14/06/11
One of Britain's most popular indie folk bands are taking to the road this summer to perform at venues around the country.
Bombay Bicycle Club, who formed while still at school, are playing a host of dates around the UK during the first three weeks of October.
These include a gig in front of fans booking Birmingham hotels when they appear at the city's O2 Academy on Thursday October 13th, while there will also be a homecoming performance at the O2 Academy Brixton to end the tour on Wednesday October 19th.
The band will also be seen on the festival circuit this summer, with dates planned for Latitude, Underage, Relentless and Leeds, among others.
In 2008 Bombay Bicycle Club released their first album, I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose, which made number 46 in the UK chart.
However, they followed this up with Flaws, which broke the top ten and has yielded singles Ivy & Gold and Rinse Me Down.
