Blur reunite for recording of new album

Britpop legends Blur will be back in the studio in January and could release a new album before the end of 2011.
According to the Sun, Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree are set to work on new material next year, and if everything goes to plan it will be the first full album they have released as a foursome in more than ten years.
They reformed after a hiatus to perform for those on weekend breaks at Glastonbury in 2009, and also played a number of other gigs, recalling classic hits such as Song 2, Beetlebum, Country House and Parklife.
"The lads will be getting in the studio next year. There's no concrete plans regarding what they will do with the material, but if they're all agreed it could become the first full Blur album to feature all four members in over a decade," a source told the newspaper.
Last year, Blur were given the Best Live Event prize at the NME Awards, for their performance at Hyde Park.
