Barry Manilow joins Children in Need Rocks Line-up
Date Posted: 22/10/13
The legendary American singer Barry Manilow is the latest artist to join BBC Children in Need Rocks 2013.
Known for classics such as Copacabana, Can't Smile Without You and Mandy, the 70-year-old musician adds some old school glamour to an already exciting line-up.
Curated by Take That legend Gary Barlow, the concert will also feature some of the biggest names in pop right now, including Tom Odell, The Wanted, Robbie Williams, Ellie Golding and Rizzle Kicks.
The musical extravaganza, which takes place in November at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London, will raise money for good causes in the UK.
"BBC Children in Need Rocks is always fantastic and once again Gary has pulled off a mega line up," host Fearne Cotton has said of the event.
"I can't wait to present this year, we've got two nights of music which means double the fun, and I have no doubt that we're going to raise a huge amount of money for a very special charity doing amazing work."
Peopel interested in booking tickets may also want to consider booking short breaks.
