Authors Winterson and Niffenegger to appear at MLF event
Date Posted: 24/09/13
Two big literary names are set to appear at the same event next month, as part of the Manchester Literature Festival - an exciting fest that would make a good reason to take hotel breaks locally.
Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit author Jeanette Winterson will share the stage with Audrey Niffenegger, the writer behind The Time Traveller's Wife.
The Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama is set to be the venue for this event, which is going to kick off at 7.30pm on October 13th. Full price tickets for the evening cost £12.
Another of the festival events planned will involve What Was Lost writer Catherine O'Flynn.
This October 19th appearance at the city's splendid Waterstones Deansgate branch will focus on O'Flynn's latest book, Mr Lynch's Holiday.
Other writers planning to attend the festival include Blonde Faith writer Walter Mosley and The Graveyard Book writer Neil Gaiman, who will be discussing Fortunately, The Milk, a children's book he has penned, on October 13th.
