A new exhibition examining the life and work of David Bowie could be the perfect day out for those on London breaks this weekend.
The display, called 'David Bowie Is', is set to open this Saturday (March 23rd) at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, running until August 11th.
It will feature numerous items associated with the iconic singer, including handwritten lyrics, original costumes, photographs, music videos, set designs, instruments and album artwork.
The show is already receiving rave reviews from critics.
Writing for the London Evening Standard, critic Ben Luke awarded the exhibition five stars, noting that "the curators of this thrilling show have raided his archive for the first time, and its depth is astonishing".
He added: "It reaches a brilliant crescendo with a vast video wall, surrounded by some of his best known outfits, on which we witness some of his most electric performances."
Tickets for 'David Bowie Is' are on sale now, priced from £15.40 for general admission.
