Alicia Keys celebrates Songs In A Minor anniversary at Royal Albert Hall
Date Posted: 13/04/11

Alicia Keys is playing a special one-off event at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Grammy Award-winning album Songs In A Minor.
The singer will entertain those booking London hotels on Monday June 13th and will perform alone, with only her piano for company.
Songs In A Minor was Keys' first studio album and helped launch her into the public domain with hits like Fallin', A Woman's Worth and Girlfriend.
"London is so good to me. I want to show my gratitude. When the record did finally come out and was able to be heard and people fell in love with it it was a testament to doing great music and not allowing people's negativity to stop you from what you dream," she told the BBC's Newsbeat.
Since that debut album, the star has gone on to record The Diary of Alicia Keys, As I Am and The Element of Freedom, while she is also planning to release a deluxe edition of Songs In A Minor.
