Alan Ayckbourn's A Chorus of Disapproval to open in September

Alan Ayckbourn's A Chorus of Disapproval is set to open to audiences at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London later this year, giving comedian and actor Rob Brydon the opportunity to make his West End debut.
Fans of the Gavin and Stacey and The Trip star should book London theatre breaks between Monday, September 17th and Saturday, January 5th to see the show, which is directed by the Olivier and Tony award-winning Trevor Nunn.
Joining Brydon on stage is Nigel Harman, who has starred in Shrek and Eastenders, and Ashley Jensen, who has appeared in Extras and Ugly Betty.
The riotous comedy tells the story of the Pendon Amateur Light Operatic Society's production of The Beggar's Opera, which is going off the rails before the handsome Guy (Harman) joins to help. He soon becomes embroiled in the drama of romantic rivalry and small town bickering off the stage, where the best action happens.
It is the first time the play has been brought to the capital in more than 25 years, and looks to be an exciting and successful run.
