Agyness Deyn makes stage debut in The Leisure Society
Date Posted: 21/12/11
The cast for Francois Archambault's The Leisure Society has been named, with supermodel Agyness Deyn making her stage debut in the play.
She will be joined by veteran Ed Stoppard, and those booking London hotels will be able to see the production at the Trafalgar Studios 2 from Thursday March 1st, with previews from Tuesday February 28th.
Deyn will take on the role of Paula, as she attempts to forge a career in acting having taken a break from modelling. Her other major credit so far came last year when she played Aphrodite in the film Clash of the Titans.
The Leisure Society has been described as a morality play with no morals, and tells the story of a self-obsessed couple whose life is going off the rails.
It is set over the course of an evening of drunken debauchery which is being held with the couple's best friend and his mistress.
As a model, Deyn has been the face of products for companies such as Burberry, Paul Smith and Mulberry.
