A Delicate Balance features a "top cast"

A Delicate Balance, which is currently running at the Almeida theatre, has been described as a "lavish production" which features a "top cast".
Quentin Letts, writing for the Daily Mail, said that Tim Pigott-Smith is "perfect" in the role of Tobias, while he also reserved praise for Penelope Wilton who plays Agnes.
"In fact, all the actors are superb, particularly Miss [Imelda] Staunton, whose comic touches help the play recover from one or two dry patches," he added.
Mr Letts went on to say that the play, which is currently entertaining those booking London theatre breaks, is "far from cheerless, despite its gloomy depiction of what happens when there is a 'loosening of the moorings' in life".
It tells the story of a reconciled family, who enjoy a drink and party. However, they choose to hide away in their own drawing room as their lives become claustrophobic and the fear grows of entering the real world.
The production also won Edward Albee his first Pulitzer Prize and is one of the top US plays of the 20th century.
