Great location. Hotel needs majorly updating especially for the price. Took a £50 deposit upon check in saying it will be refunded in 5 days. Why not just take card details and charge if needed? See More  Read more information   Collapse  Hide

The Cavendish is in a wonderful location and a very pleasant place to stay. I stayed with my husband in a double room which was very well appointed - two weeks later I stayed with my daughter in a See More  Read more information twin room, which did not seem 'female' friendly... but a wonderful breakfast served in our room made up for the basic bathroom/wet room.   Collapse  Hide

London break

Stay Date: 31/10/14, a customer aged 65+ who stayed at 4* The Cavendish London in Mayfair wrote this review.

We have stayed at the Cavendish 14 times now over the past 7 years. It is always good, friendly staff, and you can park your car. Rooms are well appointed but Classic a bit small (best one night See More  Read more information only), Superior better and Executive very good and well worth the extra cost. Warning! - Tramp nightclub is across the road in Jermyn Street and it can be very noisy after 3.00 am when everyone isturned out into the street. Take earplugs!   Collapse  Hide

Original room was very small and rather grubby. Poor night sleep on first night as bed was a small double and of poor quality. Had to pay for upgrade to get a more acceptable room for 2nd night. See More  Read more information   Collapse  Hide

Great hotel, fantastic location

Stay Date: 13/02/15, a customer aged 45-64 who stayed at 4* The Cavendish London in Mayfair wrote this review.

The first thing that struck us about the Cavendish was the fantastic location - just a couple of minutes from Piccadilly Circus but on a nice, quiet street, so the hotel felt calm and peaceful. We See More  Read more information were a few minutes' walk from the theatres and museums we wanted to visit, and literally just across the road from Fortnum and Masons (well worth a visit). The room was comfortable, well equipped andmore spacious than we expected. The meal we had in the Petrichor (hotel restaurant) was delicious, as were the breakfasts (although service was a little slower than we'd have liked at breakfast). Wedid not use the bar on the ground floor, but we used the first floor Lounge several times - it is comfortable and serves a good selection of food and drinks. Overall, we were very pleased with ourstay and will definitely consider staying at the Cavendish again.   Collapse  Hide
