Kings Cross/St Pancras & Euston Holiday Reviews

St Pancras Station, Kings Cross/St Pancras and Euston

The gateway to Central London when you're on a rail break, our hotels near Kings Cross are the perfect destination for exploring the capital. Conveniently close to Kings Cross, St Pancras International and Euston, these hotels are within walking distance of the glittering West End and whole host of London's top attractions, or alternatively just a short tube or bus journey away.

The major benefit of staying in the Kings Cross area is of course the ease with which you can get to your hotel when you reach the city. It's also handy when you're off on a Eurostar break; get a good night's sleep in one of our hotels near St Pancras before heading on a longer break on the continent.

  • Ideal for a shopping break in the capital, these hotels are a short tube journey from both the high street favourites on Oxford Street and the trendy boutiques and market stalls of Camden.
  • A short walk from the impressive British Museum, be sure to wander down to this cultural institution and take in a few of their fascinating and totally free exhibitions.
  • Our hotels near Euston are also superbly positioned for visiting pretty Regent's Park - a mere stone's throw away, it means you'll be close to the ever-popular London Zoo and the family-friendly and must-visit Madame Tussauds.
A great place to be on your next short break in London, take a look through our great range of hotels near Kings Cross below.

Fun Weekend in London

Stay Date: 07/04/18, a customer aged 45-64 from Farnham who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Spent the weekend in London for my friends 50th Birthday. The hotel was basic but clean. Hairdryer was in the room. No fridge or safe but we didn't need that. Toiletries - only soap, so remember to See More  Read more information bring your own. Staff were friendly. Pub on site was really good as was the Pizza restaurant. Phone charging in the reception area also really useful if you happen to forget your charger which I did!Hotel half hour walk from Covent Garden and the West End - great 'Olde Worlde' pubs on the way! Especially The White Hart in Drury Lane - great food at a really reasonable price. Thames River Cruisewas also really interesting and good fund. There is always something to see and do in London!   Collapse  Hide

Bedroom Good, Breakfast Room terrible

Stay Date: 23/04/18, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Our hotel room was very clean with a spacious bathroom and comfortable beds. The location was also quite good, being near to Russell Square underground on the Piccadilly line. The hotel was let See More  Read more information down by its very noisy breakfast room, which made for an unpleasant breakfast experience. The food offered on the continental breakfast was adequate, with an option to upgrade to a full English, butquite frankly the room was so unpleasant we wanted to leave it as soon as possible each morning - we only tolerated it because we had paid for it. The last two nights were spoiled by inconsiderateguests running up and down corridors after midnight and knocking on doors, having loud conversations in the corridor with no thought whatsoever towards other guests. Although we really enjoyed ourbreak in London and appreciated the hotel’s high level of cleanliness, we wouldn’t recommend the hotel to anyone else and would stay in a different one next time.   Collapse  Hide

Great hotel room

Stay Date: 28/04/18, a customer aged 45-64 from United Kingdom who stayed at 3* Royal National Hotel in Russell Square wrote this review.

Lovely hotel room and well placed. However the breakfast and dining room was appallingly overcrowded and did not match the quality of the hotel and the price of the room. I've had a better See More  Read more information experience in my school dining hall. I would recommend the hotel itself, just eat breakfast at the Turkish restaurant nearby!   Collapse  Hide
