Our stay at the Tiziano was an added bonus for our first visit to Venice it is ideally situated only about an eight minute walk from the bus and train station, in a nice quite area although not to far away from the the main center, It is a small intimate well run hotel that has a comfortable homely feel, in my opinion ideal for couples who seek a nice quiet restful break after a busy day site seeing, Our room was very clean and well kept the decor excellent as is the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was first class. with plenty of options on request. The staff are amazing very friendly, helpful, They arrange for our luggage to be taken to the station by a third party for a small cost so that we could take a nice leisurely walk to the station and not have to worry about carrying luggage all in all a very pleasant stay. We have just returned from our stay at the typically Venetian Hotel Tiziano. In a very quiet area away from the hustle and bustle yet close to some of the best restaurants and bars we've found on our second visit to Venice. Campo St Margherita and the San Sebastiano area are full of fantastic places to eat and drink. Our room was nicely proportioned and well decorated in the Venetian style. En suite bathroom was clean and all facilities worked well. Breakfast is continental style and well stocked with fruit, meat, cheese etc. All the staff are pleasant, helpful and welcoming. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again Collapse

Everyone we interacted with at this hotel was friendly and helpful - Claudia helped before our visit, Luca was very helpful at check-in carrying our bags to our room and showing us how to get around with the map, and Primal kept the breakfast neat, tidy, and refilled. I liked the location quite a bit. We like walking and exploring and the location of this hotel helped to aid that. Being out of Piazza San Marco makes it much quieter but there is no question you are in Venice. It is on a canal with the only access by boat or on foot. Being out of San Marco also forces you to see parts of the city you might not see otherwise. To get to the hotel from the airport, we took the shuttle bus from the airport to Piazzale Roma and then walked from there. I think that was a good choice. We were tempted to take the ACTV water shuttle, but that would have been a lot more money for the four of us and taken a lot more time than we would have liked. We got lost on the way from Piazzale Roma to the hotel, but having the trip advisor city map downloaded to my phone was helpful. You need to follow the directions exactly. We made the mistake one time to walk along a "parallel" path on the other side of the canal from the walkway in the directions and ended up in a completely different place. Getting lost in Venice is a way of life, and is certainly a recoverable error. There is no need for anyone to be concerned about safety in this area. There are tourists, students, and kind people everywhere. There room was great - we had a canal-view, very high ceilings, and our two kids each had their own beds. The shower was strong, the room was clean, and very well decorated. I didn't try the restaurants in the area, but they looked lively. I highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in Venice. Collapse

Booked this through BA so didn’t know quite what to expect. Hotel very efficiently booked us a private transfer from the airport - nice car and friendly driver. The hotel is small (14 rooms) but bedrooms were well appointed and very clean. Only small criticism is a chest of drawers would have been nice but that’s it. Breakfast buffet-style but had everything you’d want. Where I have to commend the hotel is the staff - Massimo and Luca were both very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The area is 10 minutes walk from Santa Margarita square which is very lively and fun with good bars. There are 3 or 4 friendly bars just round the corner too but these close early. The restaurant Codroma just along the canal is excellent. If you want to be in the midst of the tourist areas don’t stay here but for us this was perfect. Good vaporetto links too. A real find.
