The Threadneedles Hotel combines modern luxury with old world charm. Upon arrival, i was handed a drink and given a Marriott platinum upgrades to the Armstrong suite. The staff is helpful, kind and happy to serve. They truly make the difference between an average luxury hotel and an exceptional experience. The rooms are well furnished, quiet and perfectly cozy. With high ceilings, my suite feels both luxurious and like my home away from home. I highly suggest the Threadneedles Hotel as your luxurious home away home on your next visit to London. Collapse

I don’t normally write on here, but I feel I have to. The stay I have just had at Threadneedle’s I have to say is by the best hotel experience I have ever had, and I had high expectations to begin with, as it does have an excellent reputation. When we arrived we were greeted by the front of house manager Jonathan who gave us a very warm and sincere welcome and congratulated us on our anniversary, we were told we had been upgraded to a suite to celebrate our special occasion, which can I just say was stunning! In the room we had a a bottle of fizz on ice with a beautiful handwritten card from the general manager, which i was incredibly touched by, as we live in a “tech” generation, the fact the time was taken to do this I found so special and I have kept for my memory box to look back on. Basically nothing was to much trouble for anyone, every member of staff knew us by name and wanted to help in anyway they could, but it was done in a way with such sincerity and not the typical “this is a 5star hotel way” a bit like the Connaught where we we went for afternoon tea, which was so overly stuffy and OTT. I can’t rate this establishment highly enough, if I could give it 10 stars I would. They have given me memories I will cherish for many years. and went so far above my expectations to make my weekend with my partner special And for that I will be forever grateful. Thank you so much. You are true hospitality experts and I wish you all every bit of success, you truly deserve it! Kindest Regards Scott and Alistair Collapse

This hotel is certainly at the luxury end. From the moment you arrive you feel a valued client. We were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise. The quality of the room was excellent with lovely rich bed linen, plush soft pillows and an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom had fine quality toiletries, large soft towels, a large bath and walk in shower. Our only complaint was the low level of lighting which is 'boutique style' but makes it difficult to see getting ready for a function! We had to have our car with us for onward travel. Unfortunately, the parking which was pre-booked through the hotel was not available on the day and we had to pay more than double at an NCP car park some fifteen minutes away. This was very annoying and caused by lack of communication between the car park staff and the hotel. We only found this out on arrival at the car park. Collapse
A haven of peace in London's bustle.

My wife and I availed of a special " Wedding guests " offer to be able to afford a two night stay here. Having flown in from Belfast, we were rather weary - and wet ( it was raining heavily ) - on arrival at the hotel, on foot, from Liverpool Street Railway Station. A pleasant Romanian Receptionist, spotted me struggling with a heavy suitcase, and graciously helped me, even insisting on taking it to our room. A very much appreciated gesture. Our room, on the fourth floor, was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Needless to say we both slept soundly ! Saturday breakfast was ordered from a wide menu selection, and served, by pleasant staff for whom no request seemed too much trouble. Indeed, this was our overriding impression. We needed a taxi for Sunday morning. A Receptionist suggested a mini-cab instead - and ordered it for us. When it was late in arriving, he 'phoned to ensure it was en route. A really pleasant time in an hotel rather more luxurious than we are accustomed to. And the staff's gracious assistance played a significant part in our enjoyment. Collapse
