We stayed here for 6 nights and we are very very happy for our staying on that hotel. The staffs are so accomodating.Beds are so comfy and very clean.Bathroom are very clean and they always leave us two soaps, two lotions, two conditioners everyday but we didnt use it since we already bought our own but we appreciated their efforts. We had all stuffs that we need to cook when we need it.Coffee and Tea maker. We tried to use the washing machine and staff helped us to do it.There’s not a lot of varieties of breakfast but it’s still ok.There are three dining place and three buffets to choose and so cozy. One thing happens when we use a dishwasher is the water is leaking outside so we asked some helped on the front desk and they send immediately a staff to fix it.The only thing we dont like is a aire conditioner which is soo noisy and annoying all the time.So we decided to put it off on the evening. All in all i will truly recommended this hotel and i will definitely go back here. Biggest disappointment was the very loud AC/heating unit. It woke us up several times, to the point that we turned it off, which made the room cold in February, and the bed did not have a thick enough blanket for that. I doubt this was unique to that room, more likely it is the model of (cheap) heater used throughout the building. Beware. I reserved a king room and was told on arrival that availability was limited to a room with handicapped-accessible bathroom, but that was the "only difference." The room we got had a queen bed, not the king we had been promised. We were tight on time, so we did not bring it up until checkout. We could not get the TV to come on. I am good with electronics and remotes. Couldn't make it work. We had not tried to use the TV until the end of our stay, so I did not bring it up until checkout. Before 6 a.m. we were awakened by a loud announcement over a speaker in the room, alerting us that the hotel was "acknowledging an alarm" that was "being investigated" and instructing us to stay in our rooms until further notice. A short time later there was another announcement, exactly the same. Then we could hear sirens, and finally, a third announcement that the alarms was false, and we should "go back to our normal activities." We never actually heard an alarm, just the three loud announcements. My wife always wants to leave the bathroom light on with the door slightly open so she can find her way to the bathroom at night. This room had a semi-opaque window in the bathroom door, so leaving the light on meant lots of light in the room. Other reviews are correct that the elevators sometimes require long waits. There are only three, and they seem to be in high demand. On our visit, the up/down indicator lights that are most visible when the doors open were giving opposite signals. When we were trying to go down, the doors would open and showed an Up arrow. Our room had an 8-inch-square patch in the patterned carpet in a prominent spot at the foot of the bed. Not really a problem, except that the person who cut the patch appeared to not have tried at all to match the pattern where the hole was. I think a third-grader could have done a better job. It really sent a message that quality was not a big concern. Just file the hole and move on. I raised the issues about the bed size and TV at checkout, and the desk person was nice enough and offered to add 10,000 points to my hotel membership account. I believe the points expire in a year, and it is unlikely I will stay at am IHG property in that timeframe, but I appreciated the gesture. However, it has been almost a week since our stay, and I have seen no points added to my account. On the plus side, the room was well-appointed with a small kitchen, stove, microwave, big fridge and cookware (can't comment on the TV quality). The bed was comfortable. The USB charging points at the room desk seemed to provide only low-power (slow) charging using cables that do not have that issue at home. We chose this property mostly for location, which was ideal for the purpose of our trip. However, there were several less-expensive alternatives very close, and we will favor one of those in the future. This hotel is across from the Port Authority bus terminal, so it is not a great neighborhood. There are transients around, but it is a high-tourist neighborhood and seems plenty safe. We are familiar with the neighborhood and comfortable, but some people might be uncomfortable. Rooms on the back side are isolated from street noise but face other buildings with an unsavory view and not a great amount of light. This is compounded by limitations in how much the curtains can open. Collapse

I stayed for 3 nights and I have really enjoyed my time here. The check in was super fast and the lady at the front desk was very nice. They have a complimentary breakfast buffet and also serve complimentary snacks and drinks on a couple of nights. The room was clean and modern, I loved the bathroom and particularly the close up mirror. My room had a huge window and the view was okay, nothing spectacular. The room also had a kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle, stove top and a dish washer! It came with tons of China and even pots and pans. Wish I had stayed longer to really get a use out of all the great equipment. The hotel is in walking distance to Times Square, it takes you about 5 to 10 minutes and the area around the hotel is always busy, so I never felt unsafe walking alone between Times Square and the hotel. The only real downside (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) was that my room was in front of the elevator and it was constantly beeping. Also the fridge just randomly made noises which was very distracting at night. All in all I would always recommend this hotel and definitely come back next time I'm in NYC. Collapse
