Voted the Number One Hotel in the UK in The Sunday Times Magazine’s 2011 Top 100 Hotels in the World. This spectacular Victorian masterpiece has been lovingly restored and is being hailed as London's most romantic building. The St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel features Gothic Revival metalwork, gold leaf ceilings, hand-stencilled wall designs and the grand staircase - still as dazzling as the day the hotel opened in 1873.
Designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott to receive travellers through St Pancras Station, the former Midland Grand Hotel offered its guests a world of grandeur, luxury and fantasy behind its fairytale red facade. In 2011, the doors of this luxury hotel in London open once again, offering guests a world of timeless elegance and modern comforts.
The Gilbert Scott Restaurant is operated by renowned chef Marcus Wareing and entices guests with its fine selection of classic British dishes. Alternatively, The Booking Office restaurant features an array of punches and mixed drinks recreated from the Victorian era, perfect for accompanying the exquisite dishes available throughout the day and evening.
For true escapism, visit the St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel's superb spa and fitness centre. Relax, unwind and pamper with a wide range of luxurious body treatments for men and women. A perfect way to unwind after a day exploring the sights of The Capital.

We stayed in a fabulous suite on the second floor in Chambers. The architecture is magnificent and conveys perfectly the opulence originally intended making a stay here feel like the hotel really is an oasis in the city - the room was quiet, spacious and restful. The Hansom Lounge is popular and contemporary, just the right buzz to temper the architecturally Gothic atmosphere which is very authentic! We made several room service requests that received prompt attention. Miguel is an incredibly professional and attentive deputy manager and nothing was too much trouble for him and all of the staff. We were made to feel most welcome - breakfast in the Chambers Club, lunch in The Gilbert Scott and dinner in the Booking Office - great rooms, great service, great value. Who could want more? This is a Grande Dame, with excellent MARRIOTT recognition. A beautiful building, we were upgraded to the Chambers side, and enjoyed a beautiful spacious room and bathroom. Welcome offer a lovely surprise. Check in pleasant and professional. Bed and linens are luxurious. Chambers lounge a welcome retreat. St. Pancras station, underneath, has an excellent array of shops and restaurants. Staff throughout were very courteous and professional. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return. Collapse

We passed through here twice on our way to and from the Jurassic Coast. I really wanted to like the place - it’s great to see this lovely building preserved and put to good use, and it’s literally next door to the British library with its nice courtyard and interesting exhibits. But we won‘t stay again. Three reasons: The most obvious one is the high price. The second is that all the receptionists seemed awfully young and that breakfast was downright disagreeable on the return trip. We were not informed of cooked breakfast options (fortunately I knew about the delicious porridge from the first stay) and the server kept taking our plates away, or trying, nearly before we were done. OK: we‘d gone fossil-hunting. With a kid. We looked far from glamourous. Guess I‘m spoiled by those old-fashioned Swiss grand hotels in the Alps where nobody bats an eyelid if you show up in hiking boots. All that would be negligible if I really believed in this place. That‘s no longer the case because of the third and last point: They keep TV, room lights and A/C running before you arrive. Since we take trains for ecological reasons, this bugged me no end and I filled out their feedback form saying so. The reply was that this is a standard for them. Standards like these lead have led to projects like Hinkley Point. Time to reconsider? Particularly since this hotel, unlike other Marriotts, sits right inside a train station where other travellers going green might conceivably be passing through? Collapse

Dear Anne Legrand, I recently wrote a review on 3 January, 2018, after staying during New Years. We returned at the weekend to celebrate my birthday. I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the service and care I received at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel from Saturday, 17 - Sunday, 18 March, 2018. For this special occasion, I finally booked a Grand Junior Suite and I wanted it to be perfect. The hotel and staff did not disappoint me. Your front desk supervisor Miguel, recognised me in the lobby from our last visit and warmly welcomed me. I really wanted a room overlooking the Eurostar and despite the hotel being at full capacity, Miguel managed to find me a stunning room - Room 167 - which partially overlooks the Eurostar. He also arranged the complimentary ‘Bath Ritual’ experience, which was fully booked on Saturday evening, and personally carried it out. The ‘Bath Ritual’ enhanced my hotel experience and I loved the Cinq Mondes products, including a scrub and oil, and the sweet snack. Thank you so much, Miguel, for making it happen! Just a gentle note, which in no way affected my enjoyment, I wasn’t able to enjoy the champagne as I don’t drink alcohol. For future, it might be worth offering guests the option of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. Every staff member with whom we came in contact was attentive and kind including Amber in Reception, Andrea, Dan, Mihaela and Kantika in Chambers Club. They all remembered us and warmly welcomed us back to the hotel. Andrea, remembered we played Monopoly on New Year’s Eve, Mihaela remembered how we liked our latte, with one shot, and Dan’s outstanding customer service left us feeling like VIP guests. We have already decided to return to St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in the summer, and I have recommended the Hotel to all my friends and family. Thank you again for such outstanding service. Ps I spoke to Miguel about purchasing the St. Pancras hardcover book which is always on display in the hotel rooms and have looked online but cannot seem to find the right link. Please do let me know where to purchase it from. Pps I still haven’t found where I can buy the delicious Ferme des Peupliers yoghurt locally. I left Dan on the case on Sunday afternoon! Not sure if he had better luck than me! Collapse

I was completely in awe the minute I stepped in this magical hotel. It is very romantic and lovely, makes you want to fall in love all over again. :) I was lucky enough to stay in the suite and it-is-majestic! There is a train station attached to it which makes it even more special. The Booking Room bar serves good drinks but the food is just okay. Make sure to peep in and see steps where they filmed the music video "If You Want to be my Lover" Collapse
