Just came back from a great holiday and we stayed at the Tryp. Room was really nice and tidy and cleaned every day. Food was really good with a wide variety. Staff were very helpful. Only thing that let it down was the evening entertainment which was ok if you had kids but a bit boring if you were a couple. And the only other complaint was No Air Con please rectify. Apart from that really good hotel if on a budget. Collapse

We booked this on a budget as there was 6 of us, 4 kids, 2 adults. After reading dreadful reviews on here I was dreading it, how wrong the reviews are!! I couldnt fault this place for a 3 star hotel, spotless, both rooms booked were clean, fresh towels daily, toiletries provided & hairdryer. No need to take shower gel or soap! No air con but it was ok as on the balcony it was breezy. We were on the 12th floor so suffering from vertigo I couldnt look over the edge. You can put towels on the sunloungers at 8am no ealier, we always got beds on the terrace above the pool bar and there was always spare one. Food at pool bar from 11am till 6pm, couldnt fault pool, bar staff and it was help yourself to beer, wine and soft drinks, I always asked for a plastic pint glass from the barman, also cava served in flutes. Entertainment staff are brilliant, always something going on, we had a pool party the one afternoon with sax player, foam in the pool and mermaids, brilliant afternoon!! Food in the restaurant was great, again plenty of choice and couldnt fault any of that either. Your a 2 min walk from the shops, usual stuff, plenty of restaurants but it wasnt my thing, I got in a taxi to Costa Adeje one day 10 euros to some very nice shops, well worth a visit. Siam Park has a free bus outside hotel, again worth a visit. On the night there is always something, a show, a singer or DJ, again great! All in all a great holiday and I would stay here again, I usually do 5 star but its just too expensive in August. Yes you see the odd cockroach but your in a foreign country!! Big thank you to all the staff especially the entertainment team, we all had a wonderful holiday. Collapse

Close to beach and not too far from the airport. We will be back !!!!!!!! Collapse

We arrive late as our flight was delayed by a couple of hours and on arrival we only had 20 minutes left to get our evening meal. The lady at checking gave us our wristbands and told us to go and get some dinner then come back to pick up our room key. when we had finished we were told we were going to be in room 809 which was streetside but had a Sea view. The room was lovely and just what we needed for myself, my husband and our 7 year old son. The next morning I woke up to go and get some sunbeds at 8 o'clock, we were able to get sunbeds around the pool and it was a lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas to go round. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is at a high standard, the food is lovely and there is a massive choice of different things to try every day. They have cooking stations for fresh meat and fish at lunchtime and in the evening, there was also different themes on different nights. The deserts were beautiful, the chocolate Fountain that they had on one of the evenings and the lemon sorbet. The entertainment at this hotel is amazing, the staff that lay it on every day do a great job. Sonia, Elsa, Dary and Jimmy kept not just the kids busy but the adults too. We played killer darts, aqua aerobics, aqua dance, water polo and a water carpet which is about 50 m long and you have to run along it and try and get to the end of without being pushed off by the entertainment staff. The evening shows that they put on are amazing, especially the Disney Fantasia show (my son absolutely loved it!) On one of the Saturday afternoons that we were there they had a foam party with inflatable balls, a DJ, a saxophone player and real mermaids! We were completely blown away and enjoyed every minute of it. We did have some problems while we were at the hotel. I got absolutely covered in bites and when I mentioned it to the receptionist on the desk she changed our rooms immediately and moved up to room 1010 on the 10th floor. The room was beautiful, it had air-conditioning and my bites stopped as soon as we moved up there. It was my birthday while we were there and they put a bottle of champagne in our room so we could celebrate. The only problem was and that this was the day my son ended up in hospital after having an epileptic fit. The staff were a great help when this happened around the pool. Noah the lifeguard was brilliant and Sonia from the entertainment team stayed with us the whole time until the ambulance arrived. I can't fault this hotel in any way and we will be returning in the very near future. Collapse
