The Sheraton was a nearly flawless experience. We had a city view room which provided a great view of the giant Ferris Wheel. When dining at the Fallsview breakfast buffet, the American Falls are directly across the way. During dinner at 8:30, fireworks filled the skies. Fabulous. The rooms were spacious, the water bottles and WEGO bus passes were helpful and toll free included phone calls to Canada, The Us and Mexico were all included in the resort fee. Parking was the only disappointment. We had to wait 45 minutes for our valet parked car but it was just a bad moment for them. VERY friendly and helpful staff. I want to go back! Collapse
Great view, not great service

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sheraton on the Falls this past weekend for my sister's wedding. Our stay was fine with the exception of check in. We were being checked in by a new agent (about a month in). He found our reservation which was made for 2 double beds as part of the wedding room block. I inquired about upgrading to a King room and he said that he could offer a Fallsview King for an additional $40 per night. We agreed. He then told us that room wasn't available. We then asked what room WAS available. He said he did have a King room that he could offer at the same price, we agreed. He then went through the amenities of the hotel such as complimentary WiFi, bottled water, wine tasting.... and so on. In the next breath he said we didn't get any of those things? (Then why did he mention them). I did tell him I was an SPG member and I thought I received free WiFi and he said that I did not.....? I wasn't going to argue because we were there for a wedding and I wasn't going to stress about it. We checked into our room, which turned out to the that same (unavailable) room with the falls view, bonus! The real issue came to my sisters (the bride's) stay. On Friday she was locked our of her guest room on 3 different occasions (a total of 2 hours). He children were staying across the hall and every time she went over to their room and back to hers, her key didn't work, causing her to be majorly delayed for her rehearsal dinner. I actually found her sitting on the floor, crying. Not something you want to see happen to a person on their special day. She finally got excess to her room and after the 3rd attempt by the engineer seamed to have worked. The following day (her wedding day, which was being held at the hotel) I requested 6 champagne glassed to the brides room to have a quick toast. I called the operator and was transferred to room service I believe. I again requested the glasses, transfered again, finally the 3rd person told me there would be a charge, which was fine with me. I asked what the charge would be and asked if she could apply that to my room instead of the brides. I asked what the charge would be and she said the charge would be for bringing up the glasses ( I got that part) when I asked for the dollar amount she said she didn't know and transferred me yet again. After the 4th transfer I told them to forget about it and we just used water glasses. The wedding went well and the banquet staff was great. At the conclusion of the wedding my sister asked me to bring some items back to her room, such as the card box. When I arrived in her room it was a mess from getting ready. I would expect the bridal room to have a nice turn-down service or maybe a bottle of sparkling wine, but that did not happen. In fact the room wasn't event serviced. I called the operator, mind you I was quite upset, and she said someone would be up. No apology and she hung up on me mid sentence. I called back and asked why she hung up on me and she said that she thought we were done. I explained that wasn't the best way to speak with an upset guest and perhaps an apology was in order. I left the room to try and delay my sister from entering before it was serviced so I have no idea if it was done. The following morning I spoke with the front desk agent, who was very kind and apologetic. She said that because my sister had already checked out there would be nothing they could do. I would expect more from a Sheraton and I will not be returning or recommending this hotel. Collapse

I upgraded our room for the falls view and do not regret that decision! Overall the location is great, right on Clifton Hill, which is a cheesy touristy trap, but also near Queen Victoria Park and all the falls attractions on the Canadian side. The room was an average hotel room, possibly needing a little facelift, but the view from the room was SPECTACULAR! The photo attached was taken from the balcony and we had a great view of the fireworks every night. We didn't try the outdoor pool, and the indoor pool was nice and clean if a little small. Collapse

We had a twin queen room with a fabulous view of the falls. Across from the American and Bridal falls. The beds I have to say where the most uncomfortable beds ever. "Memory foam upgrade needed" we opted for the make your owñ bed service where they give you a $5 voucher to spend in Starbucks each morning.I wouldn't recommend this as they don't come in to replenish the coffee or water. I even stopped a maid to see about the water and she said she would have someone drop some off, never happened. The Buffet restaurant was great for breakfast with plenty of choice but was fantastic for the evening meal if you love seafood it is a must couldn't get enough of the crab salad but everything we sampled in the buffet was great and the staff where very attentive. Great value for both food and drink. We will revisit the falls and would choose this hotel again for its location and restaurant Collapse
