We have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Sheraton La Caleta . Overall very impressed with this hotel , location , facilities and service. On arrival we were met immediately by the doorman who took all our luggage directly from the cab for transport to our rooms . He escorted us to Reception where check in was swift and we were given an overview of Hotel by the friendly Receptionist. We had adjacent rooms , both of which were spacious and spotlessly clean. Our rooms were on the east side of the hotel with a pool and sea view . We were on level 2 and found the rooms very quiet at night which was perfect . There was more than enough space for the additional bed added to my room for my 12 year old son . Also, this was a proper sturdy bed not a flimsy fold up as is often the case. Poolside, there were always plenty of sun loungers. We tended to use the fresh water pool closer to the hotel for convenience , and despite the occupancy of the hotel it was never over crowded. Kids loved the pool, mini golf , table tennis and mini football (tucked away in the kids club so does not disturb guests relaxing by the pool). We ate in the buffet style restaurant most nights and were impressed with the quality and variety of dishes on offer . We enjoyed the chef station where different varieties of fresh fish , meat , seafood was cooked to order . Both the children in our party commented on how "nice" the chefs were every night . There were never queues so no long waits for food . The serving staff added a personal touch over the course of the week by remembering names , drinks orders and where your preferred seating area was etc . I would like to highlight Paula, the blonde waitress who also worked in the poolside bar who was extremely pleasant and efficient at all times . We spent one afternoon at the beach and one day at Siam Park and the rest of the week we were happy at the hotel. The age range of our group was 10 to 82 , the hotel was perfect for us all . Overall we had a great holiday and will definitely return to Tenerife based on this experience . Thank you Sheraton La Caleta for making our stay so enjoyable. Collapse

My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Sheraton la Caleta twice now and both times we had an amazing experience. Rooms - We've stayed in 2 different room types, both were absolutely spot on. Clean, plenty of space, with views of either the sea or pool. The bathroom is a generous size, love that there is a separate bath & shower. Breakfast - Perfect. Lots of choice & always a table available. Poached eggs are cooked to perfection and the fresh orange juice is actually fresh (unlike some other hotels). Pool Area - No matter what time of day, you are able to get a lounger by the pool. Its never overcrowded, with 2 pools available. Location - We love this area of Tenerife, its great for couples. With a range of bars and restaurants to choose from and close to the beach. We also dined at the 2 of the restaurants in the hotel, La Venta & Kamakura. We actually visited La Venta twice due to the exceptional service and delicious food. Kamakura is quite expensive but if you like Japanese food then worth a visit. Thank you Sheraton La Caleta for 2 lovely holidays, we hope to visit again soon! Collapse

My wife and I have stayed with the Sheraton La Caleta on 12 occasions now and we have also invited friends and family to enjoy a dose of winter sun with us on a number of occasions. Located in the upmarket Costa Adeje, the hotel offers great facilities, a great location and the perfect base for those looking for some rest and relaxation. Some tips, pay for access to the club lounge. This offers a more secluded area for enjoying breakfast al fresco and you also get access to a space during the day offering complimentary soft drinks and snacks and in the evening a bar and tapas is on offer as part of the access fee. Head to the beach bar next to the hotek on the traditional black beach for live music and great sunsets and head to La Caleta for dinner; Rosso Sul Mare and Char are now favourites of ours and are within walking distance of the hotel. For consistency and good quality you can't go far wrong with this recommendation. Collapse
