No air con in rooms, entertainment poor and in basement opposite restaraunt so very hot and busy. Noise levels very high all day and night. Had the worse week ever due to adults drunk and fighting, windiow getting smashed, teenagers congregating until early hours outside room, parents not managing their own children which resulted in groups running wild, unable to take baby into poil due to adults drunk diving onto extra large inflarables. The kids pool had older kids coming down the slides in inflatables, pool attendant failed to manage health n safety young kids let in the jacuzzi also. Best part was the free train out of there to the town Collapse
Ok for the price

We've just returned from a weeks stay and had read all the mixed reviews.. I travel a lot and this is my honest opinion. Firstly we are a family of 7 (5 kids and 2 adults) so all holidays are expensive because we need 2 rooms but for the price per person it's an acceptable 3*hotel!! For me personally this is a hotel I would only come to if I had kids with me because it's very family friendly but as a couple you could find better. Food was very good for the price of the holiday and meat fish salad was always available. However more seats would be great the hotel could do with scrapping the bar in the dinning room and do self service and then be able to fit more tables in! Entertainment my kids loved it however more day time activities would be great for kids aged 5-7 in the day time and on a night a few more kids games etc.. pool was lovely and staff where friendly.. hotel very clean. It was dated but that's not an issue because it was so clean.. the resort was lovely and if I got a very good deal I would came back. but I do like to try new places so wouldn't rush back.. don't worry if you've booked this hotel if your a family it will deliver a good weeks holiday just remember its 3* and nothing more or less and you can have a great time Collapse
Good food, won't be returning

Firstly, unless you manage to get an air conditioned room, which 95 percent won't, don't expect to sleep. It's ridiculous. I had a fan in both rooms but it made no difference. Staff - some are great, some are just rude. The small man who runs the arcade just seems to hate children. You should change jobs mate. Pool- great. Busy but no issues. Entertainment - there was nothing I saw in nine nights which could be considered entertainment, with the exception of the reptile show for the children. That said, the animals were treated poorly and paraded around after the show being put on people's heads for photos at 10 euros a pop. Just a money making scam. There is a guy who come in each night and plays a keyboard - I wish I'd taken a photo of him in the empty room. He cleared the place every night he was that bad. Everyone went outside when he arrived- every time. Alcohol - very poor. I read the label bottle of the supposed Vodka. "Vodka based spirit 30% alcohol" what's that all about. I priced it at 4 euros a bottle in the supermarket next door. Tasted very poor. I'm not a drinker but If I have a drink on holiday it should at least be real. It was only 7 euros for a branded bottle. Several families bought their own drink and just used the all inclusive for the mixers. Curfew- by midnight, it's lights out. The complex is closed down, no exceptions. Free drink finishes at 2300. You can finish your drinks quietly outside but that's so poor. I'm a middle aged family man and no party animal but midnight I'd too early. I've never experienced this anywhere before - we're on our holidays for God's sake! All in all, good food but won't be returning as misses on so many points. Santa Susanna area is nice, just choose another hotel. None of my comment relate to the hotels star rating or price, just the way it's run. Oh! - last point- you'd better be up and running by 8am or forget about getting a sun lounger ' ridiculous Collapse

Ok! Firstly, I am on day 7 and here for another 3 nights. I am a family of 2 adults , 2 teenagers and a 7 year old. We have met another three families whilst here and we are all very confused about the previous negative reviews... I really don't know why people moan so much, if you want 5 star then book 5 star! So here goes ! Overall: old Spanish type hotel but quite authentic if you ask me! Huge hotel Rooms: we had a large family room in 5th floor with a double bed and 3 singles. Definitely try for one of these if you can as they are the only rooms with air con and makes a huge difference! Albeit you need to hire the remote for the air con 20 euros but you get it back Lots of space in the room but you can't see over the balcony.. doesn't matter as we are never in anyway. Cleanliness- this is so clean the cleaners are in all day and night constantly cleaning floors and toilets etc. Bedrooms cleaned everyday - fresh towels every day... beds made/fresh sheets, the maids pull the beds out and mops under it! Food- food is brilliant. Loads to chose from (don't know why these people say there isn't much choice) always something to eat - my wee boy is fussy but still finds someThing. Breakfast is 7.45-9.45 lunch is half 12 until half 2 and dinner is half 6-9. If you want food later on at night they sell lovely pizzas for 7 euros . Free ice cream too Drink- all inclusive is great . Two drinks at a time is a pain but the same as most places Pool bar - always a queue but it goes down really fast... food served between 10.30 and 12.30 (after breakfast) and then shuts for lunch and opens back up at 3-6.30. Burgers hotdogs chips and toasties, all tasty. Pool area- great pool for adults and older children where the animation team play water polo with the guests. The kids pool is absolutely fabulous!! Also go down about 8 to reserve beds as everyone does even though you are not supposed to Entertainment- there is a kids disco on but never been.. karaoke most nights, the odd reptile show or parrot show or singer... too hot inside where the entertainment is so we don't go in for it very much... there is a large balcony out the front with lots of tables and chairs nice to sit on for a few drinks which is what we do every night. There is a mini arcade for the kids with a pool table air hockey etc. And a shop in the hotel Staff- the staff are as friendly to you , as you are to them. I find the staff extremely hard working and friendly ! Always busy never wait long in a queue. Reception friendly, the bar staff and manager are all hard working - the manager keeps the staff right and likes his customers to be happy! Lovely man. Please and thank you goes a long way and the people who are ignorant to these staff and think they are better than them, well these will be the ones who don't get a smile and give bad reviews. Too many rude people forgetting their please and thank yous! Actually the bar staff learn to know your drink and have it ready for you as they see you approaching! Train- free train every 15 minutes from 9.45am- 9.30pm takes you down the front where you will find the beach , restaurants and lots of wee stalls- this is better at night. Even a wee fairground for the kids. Beach- only complaint - whoever said the beach was beautiful lied. It is stone, not sand.... sore on your feet , went once won't go back Trips- booked marine land which was fab bus from hotel there and back booked at reception.... if anyone wants To go to camp nou then make your own way there as it is very expensive at hotel and can get there for 10 euros on train Shops- supermarket right next door like a big Asda or Tesco very cheap- Lidl just along the road Lastly- people moaning about the "clientel" what a load of nonsense... every family I have met are hard working and are there for a family break ..... I have never seen or heard of anyone being drunk or causing trouble... all kids I have seen are well behaved.. I honestly am so confused as why people would say these things. All in all- I will be back. Great holiday and I am so glad we booked for 10 days and not a week!! Collapse

Stayed here with a friend earlier in the month. The hotel is set out of the main hotel area but is servicieved by the resorts train from 10am until about 10-30pm. The hotel is an older type which while we were their catered for people from the British Isles and Ireland with a lot of children even though in was term time. The rooms are clean but not spacious with no air conditioning but you can rent fans. The food was ok as per usual Spanish hotels. Collapse
