We stayed here for a night, on the way back to England. Chose it due to how close it was to St Omer, but wanted a quiet night and this place was perfect. The customer service was great. We arrived late in the evening and were asked if we would be dining at the restaurant. We were, but didn't think to book a table. Main reception took care of it and put our names down on the list, so the kitchen knew there were a couple extra guests. The food itself was very good, if a little pricey. There isn't many other options nearby, so you will pay a premium, The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Beds were a little firm, but was fine for the night we were there. The room itself overlooked the golf course, so we were able to see the early risers out for a round. Overall, very happy to have chosen this place, as a stop off before travelling back to England. It was very relaxed and inviting. Collapse

We stayed prior to return to U.K as only about 30 mins from eurotunnel. To be honest we were apprehensive on this occasion due to staying during a golf open which resulted in being unable to use bar or restaurant facilities within hotel. They did recommend using the golf club facilities which was a few minutes walk away. We did this as accepted our 2 dogs. Great menu and choice of drinks and outdoor terrace. Will return next year Collapse

I arrived very late but was greeting with a warm welcome and the offer of a food platter to have in my room, which I accepted. The check in was quick and easy; the wifi connection easy; For me, the bonus is the lift to help with taking my luggage to the 1st floor room; My room was warm and spacious with a lovely bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. The meal was delicious as was the glass of red wine. The staff are all so friendly and caring - nothing is too much trouble. The location is excellent and the grounds are great for exercising my dog. The selection at breakfast is superb, and the coffee is delicious. The only concern I had is the lack of good exterior lighting at the whole of the front of the hotel as I arrived in the dark and it was hard to see my way to and from my car to the hotel and I was frightened of tripping over. We wanted a budget hotel for the last night of our stay in France before travelling back home the next morning and found this hotel to be a great choice. It took us quite some time to find the hotel, as our sat nav sent us down the wrong road. When we did find it, however, it was in a lovely quiet location next to the golf course with a good amount of free parking. It's a great location for travelling on the Eurotunnel, only about a half hour drive away, if I remember correctly. The decor in our room wasn't amazing, but it was clean and it was a great size for the price we paid. We had a large flat screen TV, comfy bed, desk and stool, radio, chair and a good amount of wardrobe space. There was also a safe, bottled water provided and tea and coffee making facilities. For a budget hotel, I was very impressed with the bathroom, which was very modern and had a bath with shower over the top, large sink area, magnifying mirror and great lighting, with the toilet in a separate room, as is usually the case in France. The only negative thing I have to say about the hotel is that the hot water kept going off when I was having a shower, which wasn't enjoyable! I can't comment on the food at the hotel because we didn't eat here at all. We found this hotel to be great for a stopover - well priced, close proximity to the Eurotunnel and in a quiet rural setting, which was important for us because we wanted a good night's sleep before another day of travelling.
