We have just returned from a weekend break at this hotel. Checked in Friday and went straight to the jacuzzi and sauna. We were given a card to get in and some people followed us in - think it is probably given to one family at a time as it is fairly small. Despite the other couple being there had a nice rest in the jacuzzi before heading to dinner. Service in the restaurant is excellent and the food is different. Loved the starter of salmon but not so keen on the rib eye steak which was quite well done for a medium request. Wine lovely and reasonably priced and husband was catered for with vegetarian menu. Had fantastic nights sleep and woke to an amazing view of the gold course. We decided to go to st Omer for breakfast and then to le touquet for a stroll on the beach. Returning to our room late afternoon we noticed it was more crowded than the previous day and with our junior suite being above the jacuzzi there was a lot of noise from a large family with children. However, this only lasted an hour and it was the afternoon. We hadn’t booked the restaurant for the Saturday night but went down to see if we could get a table as there isn’t much else around the area. They were very accommodating and happy for us to have two starters instead of a starter and main as we weren’t that hungry. Service excellent and friendly despite being quiet full. So all brilliant so far. During the night my husband was woken at 2 am by the people above and we were both woken by them at 415. They were constantly pacing up and down the room and it sounded like there were quiet a few people in the room. There was any loud music just heavy footsteps. I ran reception at 430 and he said he would call them. At 5 am it was just getting worse so I called again. He said he had Calle them but would this time visit their room. The noise continued and so my husband hit the ceiling hard with some loud bangs - the noise then stopped and we eventually managed to get back to sleep although it was difficult. At 7 am they were off again but only for a short while and this time I was fully awake. We had breakfast on the Sunday morning and this had lots of choice. There was fresh fruit, bacon, sausages and scrambled egg and yoghurts, cereals, bread and pastries. It was all really good. Overall, we loved our stay and this rating would have been a 5 if not for the lack of sleep. I had specifically requested a quiet room so was surprised that a large group were placed above us who had no intention of sleeping. If we had been placed on the top floor and not the first I am sure we would not have heard anything. So I would probably revisit but would ask for second floor room. The best bits were the view, junior suite was lovely size, the staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Only negatives were the main course choices (just nothing I really fancied) and the noise from floors above and below. Collapse

Celebrated my Birthday here. My brother and myself have friends who live in St Omer so it seemed an idea place to stay and have dinner to celebrate. I had booked 2 junior suites as they have walk in showers which both my brother and myself prefer. The rooms were extremely comfortable. There was an issue when we first arrived as there was a problem with water supply in the nearby village but we were kept well informed by the hotel and it was soon resolved I'm pleased to say. The meal in the restaurant was excellent. There was a set menu but we chose to eat from the A La Carte menu and although not cheap was well worth every penny. Our French friends had heard of the restaurant and said they would certainly eat there again. Breakfast had the usual choice and the view across the golf course was lovely. My brother and myself will certainly be returning to the hotel. Collapse

I just love it, very calm and charming place in mittle of nowhere. Specially when you arrive late in the evening you crossed the deep wood, you are scared but when you wake up in the morning you realise that you are in beautiful place, in the heart of the nature add to it a perfect breakfast with a vue on the golf course; your really feel sometime you are priviliged. We stayed here for one night on our way back to the UK. The hotel is about 30 minutes from Calais but is set in beautiful surroundings. I had chosen the hotel mainly because it accepts pets but found the room to be comfortable with lovely views. They had even left bowls out for our dog. We had a quick drink in the bar which was okay although the furniture was a bit scruffy. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that but we found it to be perfect place for a stopover.
