Not a usual hotel in USA but tried due to previous reviews. I cannot fault the hotel. Impressed on arrival as room location asked for was given. Nice very clean resort with high comfy beds and good amenities . Listed as four swimming pools but one is a toddler and the other a hot tub. No problem with WiFi if you understand you have to renew each day. Maid service on 9th floor block one was very good and very polite. The hotel is huge. 6 lifts go from 4th floor to 10th and other lifts located around the hotel go to different floors so no waiting for lifts. My only problems was I had to pay €8 for a parcel to be delivered which is wrong as it is address to me. Also the parking if you time it wrong you can be parked along way from the hotel. There is a buggy pick up but not when you always need it. So if you got shopping it is a trek and hard work. Also found the food a little expensive $22 for a pizza is steep. Overall apart from these minor things this is a very good hotel with the add3d bonus of a golf course and many other sport activities. If you can put up with the car park it is a good choice Collapse

I have the opportunity to stay at a lot of hotels throughout the year, and this is by far my favorite one in Orlando. I was fortunate to stay here for work this past weekend, and it was as fantastic as usual. There is just something about driving up the long entryway that makes me grin from ear to ear!! I know as soon as I get out of my car, I am going to be greeted by smiles from every single employee that I see! The lobby is very grand yet cozy, it kind of draws you in. Check in is quick and easy because there are so many people at the front desk. The rooms are really spacious, quiet, with super comfortable beds, and the views are so beautiful! There are a bunch of restaurants / bars and each one was as tasty as the next. There is also a 24 hour marketplace that has anything and everything that you would need for a late night snack, but it also has necessities in case you forgot something. There are a bunch of different pools, sand volleyball courts, basketball and tennis courts too !! I wish I could have stayed longer. This resort hotel has all the things that you could ever want in a hotel. Great Service, comfortable beds, delicious food, and an overall warm feeling. It is not some stuffy resort. Even though this is a giant hotel, they always make me feel like I am the only guest staying there because they just have a way of making you feel special. Two thumbs up for the Rosen shingle Creek once again they have outdone themselves !!! Collapse

As you pull up the driveway there certainly is the wow factor. Fountains out front and It is HUGE. It’s a lovely clean resort. The room is old school American style luxury hotel. Dark wood and very comfy beds. We had a double queen (as family of three) and it had a separate toilet bathroom and then two sinks/make up counter outside. Not 100% up to date with technology: (still had the old style iPhone dock for the music/alarm Clock) But USB charging points around the room. Parking is far away but there are golf buggies zooming around to bring you up the hill to the hotel. And when we checked in we were told we have complimentary self parking. Result! Not sure why?! But very happy (we booked with travel republic). After three days though we were ready to leave. the hotel is too big! You spend most of your time travelling between the car park and your room In short this was a perfect hotel for our needs: our first few nights in Orlando as close to airport and international drive/sea world. Stayed for 10 nights on a room only basis for some spring sunshine. Hotel is very large but copes very well with the number of guests and conference members using it. Rooms are large and well appointed and many public areas are clean and very well kept. There are multiple restaurants and coffee shops etc. in the hotel as well as a market selling a large amount of items and great for breakfast and other snack options - we would buy breakfast from there and eat outside at the pool terrace. We used the hotel restaurant on our last morning for breakfast which for $18 ahead was not too expensive considering the excellent variety and quality of food on offer. The gardens and pool areas are kept immaculately tidy and clean with plenty of sun beds etc. The family pool was busy at weekends but we always used the swimming lane pool area which was always fairly quiet. Hotel has a golf course on site as well as multiple pools and other sporting activities. Position of the hotel is perfect only 15 mins drive from Orlando International airport, and similar to the Disney complex and other Universal parks etc. with International Dr being only a few mins drive away. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. The main car park is large and can be very busy if a conference on at the hotel - it is a fair distance from main hotel entrance so be prepared for a walk, however there are constantly golf cart pickups available if required to/from hotel. Car park charges are quite expensive so try and g et a deal that includes parking. Valet is also available if required for ~ $25 a day. There is a supermarket with selection of other shops directly opposite main entrance to hotel complex a few mins drive away for all your needs. The hotel is affiliated to Universal and so provides a free bus service to their parks which saves you driving and paying for parking. This is a very nice hotel with great customer service and we will definitely stay there again when next in Orlando. Collapse
