Very nice hotel, in walking distance (7min) to the Spanish steps (there is an underground way directly to the Spanish Steps) The rooms are a bit small, but beautiful furnished and the staff is very friendly. The only negativ point is the breakfast (located in the 7th floor with a nice view) The air condition inside the breakfast room was every day fully running and the outlets of the air.con are full of dirt/dust - I dont want to know which kind of bacteria you breath in! Furthermore the employees who work there are very snobbish - to order 2 coffee it tooks 25min, every day they forgot the milk, another 15min to wait to start to have breakfast. The employees are very slow, not motivated to work and disorganized. Also the quality of the food was 50/50. The sliced kiwi was every day so hard and impossible to eat. We were very disappointed from the breakfast, better book without breakfast and have a nice coffee with a croissant down in the city for 3€. But the rest of the hotel is very beautiful. Thank you Collapse

We booked 3 rooms for our family vacation. The rooms are being cleaned daily, and well organized. the lobby is very beautiful, and greatly designed. Breakfast is served on the rooftop restaurant and the food and variety are good. Wi-Fi in the hotel is quite weak. The only downside(for some people it's an advantage) is that the hotel is near the ,american embassy, meaning, it's out of the touristic center, meaning, unless you are in a very good shape, you will need to take a taxi or a bus, to any place you wish to visit, including restaurants and sightseeing spots. My husband and I stayed at the Grand Flora Hotel while visiting Rome for a few days. The hotel was beautiful with friendly and accommodating staff. Everything was clean and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast on the top floor was delicious and we had a very nice view. The hotel is in a very safe area of town, close to the American embassy. Although it is not in the busy tourist area, it is very easy walk to the tourist attractions, and the area around the hotel is not too busy. We found wonderful restaurants and shops around the hotel and were able to walk everywhere. As a bonus, the hotel is very close to a large park. We will stay at the Grand Hotel Flora on future trips to Rome. Collapse

We were in Rome for five days and stayed at the Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora which turned out to be a great choice. It is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet, and top-notch service. It is right across from the Borghese Gradens and within walking distance of a variety of good restaurants. It is not the closest hotel to a lot of the usual attractions, but if you are a walker, you can do a tour of the main tourist features without much problem. My wife and I took a taxi to Piazza Navona and, despite not being the best of walkers, easily completed a nice walk back to the hotel visiting the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps along the way. For more distant destinations, with a doorman calling up a taxi at a moment's notice, there is no problem getting to any of these - 10 euros or so to go to the Vatican, for example. We cannot say enough about the service we received from the hotel staff, whatever the circumstance. The concierge was very helpful with regard to advice on any subject, and the front desk was extremely friendly and efficient at all times. They were particularly helpful with a medical problem that I experienced, obtaining a doctor and helping with the language barrier in dealing with a local pharmacy. We would highly recommend this hotel for folks planning to stay in its area on the Via Veneto and plan to stay here again if we ever in Rome on a future trip. Collapse
