4 of us went for afternoon tea including our 91 year old mother. The staff were very helpful and the food was you check your cups before drinking from the fresh but we did have a few problems: 1. all of the cups were dirty as were most of the ones on other tables and my dil's sup had a huge crack all the way through it. 2. the bought the drinks but no tea spoons, we had to find staff to get some 3. no sugar we had to get some off another tables. I would suggest you check all your crockery being using them, maybe there is something wrong with their dishwasher but who every laid the tables needs to be more observant. We have had better afternoon teas but did enjoy the food as it was fresh Collapse

Roman way hotel shocking place to stay staff were not attentive the rooms were filthy and old. Maids decided that they would fold my dirty boxers and put them back in the same place, I found this rather disturbing and odd. My room was mouldy as you can see by the photos below. The breakfast was usually late and cold when it arrived. I also got out of he shower and stood on a rusty screw that was stuck up. This caused injury to my foot which hurt, and when I mentioned this to the reception staff they shrugged it off and told me that it would be past over to the manger but believed this to be untrue and just a way to fob me off. All in all not great service. Collapse
