This hotel is the worst hotel in Europe I have ever stayed in. On coming back from a long hot day, we had no towels. On attempting to get towels from the front desk, they said we had to pay cash for clean ones! When I asked to speak to a manager I was told it’s not possible. The red head at the front desk was the most rude person I’ve ever experienced in the service industry. Over twenty years of traveling. Prague is such a beautiful city, don’t let your stay be ruined by a horrible hotel with such inhumane service! AVOID! Collapse

This hotel is very clean and modern. The staff were always welcoming and helpful and the room was large and airy, ours overlooked the terrace so it was quiet at night. The bathroom had free toiletries, clean towels every day and there was a bath and overbath shower which was very powerful. The only complaint about the room was the TV had no English channels so american news was all we could watch whist getting ready! Boring!! The breakfast was mostly continental with some hot choices like boiled eggs and hot dog sausages (mixed veg/pasta not really our taste in the morning??) and we always managed to fill up on yogurt, cereal and fruit etc. It rained one day and we booked a slot in the sauna which was really hot and relaxing. There was a large gym but we didnt use this facility. We had a few drinks in the bar and a pizza lunch which was tasty. We could not resist joining the queue of prople at the ice cream shop that was at the side of the hotel and it was very yummy - I can recommend the salty caramel flavour! The area had lots of restaurants nearby and was only a 15-20 minute walk from Charles Bridge and the river. There was a large park opposite with lots of benches to sit and watch the world go by. There is a funicular railway that takes you to the Petrin lookout tower up the steep hill in the park but unfortunately it was broken whilst we were there so we didnt get to see the view from the top of the tower, which is supposed to be fantastic. All things considered this is a lovely hotel and we would definately recommend you try it out. Collapse

We were traveling with a large group of people who visited Prague for about a week and found this hotel to be most accommodating. We had a superior room that was quite large with ample closet space and a huge bathroom. It was cleaned spotlessly every day by Natalia and we thank her most heartily. It's nice to come back to a clean room after 12 hours of sightseeing. The breakfast was far better than I expected. I have learned not to expect an "American" breakfast when I visit Europe. There were a few warm selections daily, juices, coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. There were the more traditional cold meats and cheese selections that Europeans favor. There were great breads, rolls, pastries, butters, jams, cream cheese, yogurt with granola and many other toppings. The lobby area was quite nice, but as it is also the bar/restaurant, we did have a few communication issues regarding appropriate use of the "lobby" that we don't experience so much in American hotels. The staff at the desk were very helpful in pointing out the grocery stores, liquor stores, and restaurants nearby. We slept well every night (probably due to being exhausted beyond imagination). If I want an American experience, I'll stay in America. Collapse

Second visit to Roma. Handy for walking to all the main sites, including the fantastic Petrin park, which is across the road from the hotel. Clean and comfortable room, nice range of toiletries, including shampoo and a hairdryer is provided. Wished that there had been more savouries, such as bacon or porridge at the breakfast buffet; there were 5 types of pastries and they all looked lovely but patisserie is not what I'm after for breakfast. Self- operated safe in the room- much appreciated. Collapse
