The 2 only acceptables: tiny cleaned room and very cheap... everything else horrible! No friendly approach by the personel, to be payed for the hairdryer and remote control, noisy, the hotel smells odd, no renewal of furniture or something else in appr. 30 years, food in buffet, not very good, not a cosy restaurant, stand in line for breakfast and dinner, we left after 2 nights! No 3 star hotel, even 2 stars in Barcelona is by far better! No recommendation! Collapse

Normally I do not leave reviews but on this occasion I feel compelled to leave my comments. We arrived on the 27th September 2017 to Reymar Playa. We arrived and checked in to find that the room we booked was not avaliable lucky for us they upgraded us to a standard room, great! a free of charge upgrade the chances of that... quickly my excitement was let down as soon as I stepped foot in the room. The room itself was dark, dirty and appeared to not have been cleaned to a satisfactory standard. The room was very small and has three bed cramed into it. Hairs were clearly viable on both beds sheets, the toilet seat was dirty with hairs left in the toilet and on the seat. The floor was sticky where possibly a fizzy drink had been spilt. Both bed sheets do not fit the single beds that are in the rooms, bare in mind these try to make up a double bed but just end up sliding apart. The bed is made up of three sheets one of which is a felt like material that has appeared to be cut up with a pair of scissors to fit the bed. The beds themself are very hard and lumpy to which we struggled to have a good night sleep. The walls are paper thin to which we could hear next doors TV, the man sleeping upstairs and people talking at 3am in the morning. One night I didn't get to sleep until 4 in the morning and I went to bed at 10! The hotel staff do not do anything to keep the noise levels down at all. A safe is present in the room to which you have to pay to rent it. Not to sure of the price as we didn't was to use it. To watch TV you have to rent a remote from reception at a cost of €5 for your stay only two English channels are on the Tv's and they are both news channels. I would give it a miss and maybe bring some films on an iPad or stream them if you have mobile data. Wi-Fi is avaliable in your rooms but their is a cost €20 for a week I believe. Alternatively wifi is free down at the bar. As you can see from the pictures the balcony and it's view was not great as it was overlooking the rooms in next doors hotel. To be fair the the hotel I did not book a sea view room or expect a good view so this didn't disappoint me too much, you kind of expect this when you book a hotel in a tourist hotspot area. The balcony has two plastic garden chairs which were great for looking out at our amazing view... but our table seemed to have gone missing along with everyone else's table. A.C. in the room works very well and will keep you cool thought the night in some cases we had to turn it off because we were too cold. Now to the best part of any day... FOOD! As part of our full board booking we decided to have the luxury of having all out meals paid for at the hotel. The hotel provided us with a meal ticket to get breakfast, lunch and dinner keep is safe as if you loose it there is a fine of €40 for a replacement. Breakfast it at 08:00 - 09:00 and lunch/dinner is at 13:00 - 21:00. The ticket is marked only when getting lunch and dinner where you have to present your ticket before entering the buffet style menu. Where lunch/dinner is from 13:00 - 21:00 you can visit twice anytime between thoes hours to have lunch and dinner. I was quite disappointed with the food as I am normally not a fussy eater however, first thing I noticed wrong on the first day is the old food is chucked on top on new food in plane site of everyone which isn't good when it's chicken and fish. The buffet was often luke warm and the labels explaining what meat was in the tray was often wrong. Not impressed when picking up what I thought was an onion ring but it turned out to be a fish ring . Trying to get a table after picking your food isn't great as the room is always busy. The waiters try their best to clear the tables as quickly as possible however, a larger room is required. Fruit is claimed to be fresh daily but is often left there for 2 or three days before it's changed. Breakfast isn't the greatest with cereal being eaten with no milk because they don't provide milk. Hot food in the morning is often luke warm and luke school dinners. We would go down at 08:00 on the dot and it still be luke warm. Drinks at dinner were over priced at €2.50 for a can of coke or fanta where over the road would sell you one for €0.80 please note that you are not permitted to drink or eat any food that was not brought from the hotel this is normal in pretty much every place so noting new there. Most days we would try and eat something from the buffet but then go out for something. Recommendation: if you like kababs and burgers or something from a typical Turkish kabab shop if you come out of the hotel and turn left and keep walk ing down about 500m you will see a place call Malgret De Mar Donna kababs. Clean and nice food which will sort you out for dinner some nights. Collapse

Seen reviews for this hotel and am a great believer in you get what you pay for. Hotel very clean, most staff helpful, few not so! Room we had overlooked pool area, quite noisy air con but it worked. We went half board, food hit and miss at times, if you want to eat in pleasant noiseless environment where the staff effortlessly move silently clearing tables, book in to the Savoy!! Very busy, loud and you dont want to stay.Closes at 9.30 for breakfast frequent queues to get table. Pool area clean, loungers hard plastic so bring padding, typically prime ones taken and reserved, which was annoying.Overall we enjoyed our 10 day stay, be aware of mosquitoes. Great bars along strip, Beertual was the best, some great British pubs to be found if you want to talk, Drunken Duck and Crown. Best air con is in the Tabac shop if you need a cool down Collapse
