Not a 5 star hotel , rooms small beds hard , duvets lumpy ! The wait for orders is crazy be it by the poolside or bar in the evening. The staff lack organisational skills they always seemed stressed. The hotel was only half occupied, yet we were given a room at the back of the complex that never saw any sun when there were plenty of rooms at the front vacant. 5 star prices not worth it at all . Have just returned from a 6 night all inclusive stay with our 3 year old twins and we are already planning our next trip in July. We loved the hotel, immaculately clean, wonderful staff, and lovely room. Food was excellent - lots of variety, wonderful lady making fresh bread every morning and we were also pleasantly surprised by the alcohol that was included in this also. Biggest winner was the kids club - our kids didn’t want to leave - incredible staff who took incredible care of our twins who usually refuse to be away from us - mimi and Katie were adored by them as was everyone else. Free shuttle busses into town also a bonus. We were really impressed by this hotel. Can’t wait for our next visit. Collapse

We loved the hotel and it's tranquil location 20 mins outside of the city which provides a chilled environment away from the souk. Hotel ran a regular pre-booked shuttle bus to the Medina so you won't miss out on Marrakech. Very helpful staff who were all friendly, the food was plentiful and varied with local and European tastes catered for. The accomodation is set in low rise blocks in the grounds and had everything you would expect for a 4 star European rated hotel (not 5 star)l. We used the spa for a hamman and massage which was very relaxing. More of a spa experience than you may get in the city but it was personal and discreet which suited us. The hotel grounds were lovely and there appeared to be plenty to keep young kids occupied - pedalos on lake, petting zoo and kids club. We enjoyed the quiet location and would recommend the Pullman Collapse
A 4-star tourist resort - NOT international 5-star!

We stayed here for three days in the beginning of february 2018, after having spent four days in the excitements of the Marrakech Media and an authentic Riad B&B / Spa experience, which had its own qualities. We are a couple in our mid-40’s. DINKS’s (Double Income, No Kids…) with expectations and ability to pay for what we desire. Our conclusion is that Pullmann Palmerie is a 4-star TOURIST CLASS Hotel/resort, and will never be a 5-star INTERNATIONAL CLASS hotel. Here is why: The resort is situated 6km outside of Marrakech, on a plain field which can never be a 5-star location. There are absolutely no external attractions, all is in inside, behind security gates, so you have to take Pullman in…or not. Shuttle Bus (free) to Marrakech is a (tourist) plus. You WILL have to spend significant time outside going to/from buildings on the premises. It must be scorching hot in mid-summer. Freezing in Feb-2018. Our Superior-Class room was ice cold, AirCon took care of that in 10H, furniture and fittings are medium at its best. Fittings failed all the time. The whole feel of is…..medium. Not 5-star. The reception area contains all the tourist manuals for travel agencies to be expected (TUI, SUNWING, etc), polite but very inexperienced young receptionist. Service is good, but I could do without the constant glare from the ring of 6 late-twenties “Pullmann Managers” standing around, looking anxiously ambitious and open. They fail. “5-star Pullman Palmarie Hotel and Spa”? It’s a dilemma because they have huge(!) and well-assorted conference facilities well prepared for any major EMEA-entity of a global company to have their annual meeting here. On the other hand, there are three (3) pools, gardens, toys, Kid’s Area, daily activities (cooking class, training sessions, etc). There is the main dining hall for the “Tourist Menu” buffet where everyone eats (including Hotel staff). At DIR290+drinks/person, it is NOT of great value, as the food standard is much too less for a 5-star experience. Who wants to leave the total buffet with three different kinds of pasta, veggies, a piece of bread, some “meat” (as dishes are not specified…), a bit of unspecified “fish” for a culinary experience, diced cucumber-tin-corn-parsley-and dressing salad (anyone?), and a piece of overheated – now cold, chicken. Chicken everywhere. The international kitchen is classic and really simple. Use recipes. Get a cookbook. Use salt (please!) Make simple, but good classic, international recognized dishes that appeal to our international audience, please. Even worse – and thus the key to the TOURIST RESORT comprehension: If you choose All-Inclusive, you get literally banded with a “festival band” around your wrist (!) and a printed, folded pamphlet program (!) telling you exactly WHAT you can get on your wristband, WHEN during the day you can get it and WHERE as it is absolutely NOT everything you can expect or desire that will be available. Much you have to pay for extra and the qualities of foods (buffet again…), drinks and snacks leaves MUCH to be desired from a 5-star experience. I want a Bottle/can of Coke…. not a poured glass. I prefer quality brand spirits/alcohol included (Not “Old England” or Winston-whatever…) I want to be able to have drinks/food everywhere, all the time. I want luxury, NOT on a separate bill! And at the offered prices, luxury is just not what you get (admitted.) As an alternative, there are three alternative restaurants, that no one uses: An “Asian” offering, with Morrocan Sushi (?!) and Pasta (!!?) dishes on the menu, we had to ask for, Mezze is a Lebanese restaurant (WHY!?) that seemed closed as there were no lights or personal inside…… and a Cigar/Champagne bar (in a Kid’s Resort!?) that was empty of people/staff the full three days we were there. So…Pullman was a dilemma. I am sure it is GREAT for upscale families with kids in the summertime, get All-Inclusive and let them race the grounds. But international travellers with global experiences not to be fooled: In spite of the excellent Marketing and recommendation – this remains a 4-star TOURIST RESORT. Collapse

We stayed 2 nights here in Pullman and I have to say it was nice, but not extraordinary. The waiters do sometimes forget orders, the meat was not à point but very well done, and the classic rooms are quite small. The good things are that there is a lot of space in the garden and on the pools, the bed is really comfortable and they have a good selection on breakfast with very nice bread. So for me, this is a very good 4* property Collapse
