Booked this hotel last minute with Thomson holidays, just returned. Everything about this hotel was great! I had emailed the hotel to say it was our anniversary and we would be grateful for a bottle of wine for arriving, Both wine and fruit were in our room when we arrived. Thank you! Was on the 4th floor facing the beach so we had the sun from lunch time to late evening. Not sure if I would have liked to be any higher though. The room was really modern and contemporary which I loved! Wasn't keen at first with the frosted glass surrounding the bathroom. You soon get use to it though. Rooms were cleaned every day and fresh towels.Great big TV so caught up with the soaps. The only complaint I have was the shower leaked through the shower screen so you need to make sure you put a towel down. They also didn't top up for tea or coffee in you room so take some tea bags with you or just ask for more at the bar in reception. Food in the restaurant was always lovely and all the staff were always very happy and helpful.Special mention to say Carlos in the restaurant he was always smiling! Wasn't all-inclusive so didn't find the drinks to expensive. Pool area was lovely and lots of activities on if you are wanting to join in. Had a wee hour at the spa which was lovely and peaceful, only 5 euro's. There was entertainment every night in the hotel. Everyone complains about the lifts but I really didn't have a problem once you know how they worked, only times it was a problem was at meal times. Great location! Would highly recommend this Port Benidorm!! Collapse

Stayed for 7 nights at the start of August. First impressions hotel is modern , well set out and incredibly clean . We had a room on the 1st floor and in all honesty it was the best room I have ever stayed in and I visit a lot of hotels in Benidorm. The room had a fridge and hair dryer and a safe at an extra charge. We had a lovely sea view and the rooms are sound proof so plenty sleep at night. We went half board rather than all inclusive and found drinks to be reasonably priced. Lifts take some getting used to with the card system but within a day your used to it. The only reason I have not given this hotel a 5 is that I did not like the food. I'm so sorry but I really struggled to find anything other than fish or fatty meat and I didn't like the way it was cooked plus I have problems with gluten so I ate salad all week . Also the entertainment is hit and miss on an evening so we went out. Location wise is perfect , 5 minutes to beach and in a nice area. Special mention to Pila , she works so hard all day keeping everyone entertained. She is an asset to this hotel and so friendly . Would I stay again , I'm not sure to be honest , I'm going to say maybe but I do prefer old town. Collapse

This is my last day at the hotel so a good time to give my views. As has been said previously it's a lovely hotel and easily the best looking one I saw on my walks around Benidorm, it gives an air of class as you walk into the lobby. CHECK IN - very smooth, had a brief lesson on using the lifts which were fine for us because we are on the first floor but might be an issue with waiting times for higher floors. ROOMS - we had a double room overlooking the front with a sea view if you sat in the right place on the balcony, great for people watching. The room was spotless and was cleaned every day. The glass bathrooms though really let it down, who wants to see what people are up to in the toilet? POOL - lovely area, plenty of beds but still a number of British people who insist on getting their towels down at 9am and then not returning till midday. The snack bar is fine and the animation team do a good job. FOOD - my biggest complaint. Very plain food, virtually the same stuff everyday and all very bland and tasteless. The desserts were limited and the ice cream came in tiny pots that were frozen solid. Why not just have big tubs that people can help themselves to? QUEUES - 3 times I went to breakfast and walked away, the queues were horrendous. British people seem to want to stack food up as high as possible and leave half of it, some days I felt like screaming out " you can go back up ". My advice is avoid all inclusive and venture into old Benidorm which is €1.50 on the bus. ENTERTAINMENT- cheesy but acceptable, lovely bar area to relax in. SMOKING - why? Around the pool and in the bar areas, NO NO NO. If you need to smoke go outside the front of the hotel, I don't want my kids breathing in your fumes! BENIDORM - hell on Earth! If your idea of fun is drunken Northerners screaming at each other and getting as drunk as quickly as possible then Benidorm is for you! There is a company here that hires out 2 person disability scooters and everywhere you go there are overweight people gleefully trying to run you down......don't be so bloody lazy! Old Benidorm is lovely though, much classier. OVERALL - lovely hotel but poor quality of food and queues at buffet let it down. Would I stay here again? Only if the hotel was picked up and put anywhere but Benidorm. Half of the Northern Cities in the U.K. in August must be empty because they are all here! Highlights of the week were seeing a drug deal outside my room at 11pm and a drunk couple having a stand up row outside the hotel at 4am for about 30 minutes, they were screaming at each other and I thought I was on the Jeremy Kyle show! They weren't even guests of the hotel!! I'm curious to know if they made it up? Collapse

So I have never been to Benidorm before, my boyfriend treated us this summer to a week long all inc break here. We arrived around 12 and where quickly seen to by reception. I was pleased with how clean fresh and large the reception was & so modern! We used the lifts which u access with your room key card and where impressed it gave u the option to select which floor u needed, your room, the pool, or the restaurant. This was novel, but soon proved a little problematic . Our room was 12th floor and the views was brilliant, we over looked the beach. The sun hit our balcony in the evening which was great after a long day u could still relax in the sun in private. The room was well fitted out with big telly Comfy bed (however pillows were bit random with one each and one long extra one that was too small to share?) The bathroom as others have mentioned is glass, but fogged out so I can't see anything untoward. However if you where not a couple I could see why people might not like this. The shower does leak- deal with it. It caused us no problems & the maids clean daily. I can only see this being an issue if you have mobility or balance issues. Hence I include it. Because it really does flood the bathroom. But it didn't cause us a minute of stress. A fridge is included in the room and a hair dryer. Food was lively in the restaurant, mixture as expected, some nights better than others but always something nice to eat. Brekki was a bit touch and go of u like a full English but u can buy one for about 4€ from in town if you miss them that much. We ate a fair amount by the pool Side which had a hot buffet, once by the pool I didn't want to move. It consisted of salad, meats breads, chips, nuggets, burgers sausage and buns. The drinks were plenty on the all inc staff dad there job weren't overly pleasant but not rude either. Pool was lovely always a lounger free, whenever we walked down we found 2. However if you want shade you may have More of a battle as there were not many parasols & these were always taken when we went. Lifts - again haha After a while the novelty wears off when u realise they only really hold 4-6 (at a push) and u press the floor you want and you wait watching the lifts fly up and down past you for 5 mins. When your allocated lift arrives it is already full so u have to start again. This does get frustrating but had a laugh with other guests normally at how ridiculous it could get. Nighttime entertainment wasn't really my thing, we did it once and didn't bother again. Kids and the older generation seemed to enjoy it, we went across the road to the karaoke for a laugh then if we wanted more headed the strip. Hotel only a 10min walk from the strip and 5 mins from the beach, it is the other end of the strip from the old town. We did walk it a number of times but with the heat it could be difficult and a taxi may be a wiser idea. Collapse

This hotel was definitely the best looking in Benidorm. Standard twin room a comfortable size, glass bathrooms refreshing and added to the feeling of spaciousness, a trip onto the balcony whilst someone else using it, not a problem. The balcony was a generous size on the street side with a generous view of ocean, poolside balcony is a hit and miss as there are 3 different sizes. Plenty of cupboard/wardrobe spaces. Pool is cold warming up through the afternoon. They need more parasols. There are not enough and scrambling for sun beds with parasols isn't my idea of relaxing. There are plenty of sun beds though. Food was a bit repetitive after 2 weeks but there was plenty of it and it was hot. We were half board and I was surprised we weren't allowed to buy house spirits we had to buy branded, on the plus our paid for lunch burgers were twice the size of the all inclusive. Location was excellent, next to the beach, bus stop, bars etc. The entertainment was hit and miss, ranging from an excellent Michael Jackson impersonator to singers past their sell by date. In house entertainment was great fun for those able, particularly poolside, water polo and aqua classes and something for kids. Pilar did a great job. All in all, we would stay here again. Collapse
