Traveled to Las Vegas for some concerts, shows, and gambling. Followed the advice of travelers and stayed at the Palazzo. PROS: Super huge deluxe rooms fit for a prince. Remote control drapes, beautiful rooms, wide hallways, and quiet floors. Upscale shopping at Barneys and other adjacent stores. Reality shopping at the nearby Walgreens and CVS for water, sodas, etc. Decent breakfast buffet. For the cost, go to the Wynn if you're on vacay for breakfast. Same amount but double the options. needed extra blankets and they came quickly. Attentive staff. great location. CONS: Check in could have been swifter but the room was ready for early check-in at no additional cost. Avoid the extremely high priced minibar. Rip off. "Resort fee" is a rip off and adds to the cost of the room. (Every hotel and motel in Vegas has adopted this method of upping the charge. Collapse
Upscale hotel. Comfortable bed. Loud, crowded pool area.

May 2018. Overall nice stay. Long walk to room. Stayed in their King suite on 20th floor; hotel staff said the prestige room and ours were identical as rooms, obviously service will be better at an extra $120/night for the prestige. We stayed 3 nights. Had ‘mountain view’ which was a view of air conditioners on the adjacent roof; I should have upgraded the view to the strip view. Bit of a maze to find different restaurants and food court. Ate at the burger/shake place on the hotel tv ad, very good, really enjoyed the cobb salad and prime hamburger. Also ate in food court Johnny Rockets and Gyro/shawarma places, both good. Gelato at the kiosk was good. Enjoyed the nearby strip stuff within easy walking distances eg comedy at PH, bars and restaurants. Bring water bottles and some adult drinks; mini fridge is full and you’ll be automatically charged for removing stuff, even to look at if you’re slow to put it back. Hotel water tasted funny to me. Walgreens pharmacy/store is adjacent to the hotel for meds, pedialite/gatorade and water bottles. Free valet parking, free wifi. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean room and bedding. At arrival, drinking glasses were used/dirty and housekeeping quickly exchanged them. No bathroom fan, could hear bathroom sounds through closed toilet room door. Bathroom has a tv. Weak shower water pressure. Pool is a complex of multiple small pools and sitting areas between the Palazzo and Venetian hotels. We visited the pool twice during our stay. Very crowded pool area; staff had difficulty finding 2 chairs without towels on them. We later saw staff clearing towels from suspected deserted chairs for other new arriving guests. Pool area closed at 7pm; we did want to stay longer as the pool became more attractive with dropping temps and fewer noisy people. We did not visit the Venetian pool that stays open later, I think 10pm. We did not want to take a another long walk in our swimsuits. We visit Las Vegas 1-2x/year. Will probably stay elsewhere in future. Collapse

Check in process was great. Lucy checked us in and gave us some nice little upgrades. She even sent some strawberry’s up to our room. Very nice. The rooms are very spacious. They were cleaned everyday. The hotel is massive with a connection straight into the Venetian. I would have given this resort 5 star but one staff member and pit boss in the casino was racist towards us. We didn’t follow up as did not want to make a scene. Collapse

I stayed at the Palazzo for one night using points from IHG. While the room "cost" quite a lot of points, it was a free night in Vegas! The hotel itself is really pretty and very clean. It was a little odd to see so many security people - including those with dogs all across the property. That being said - it was clean and well kept. The room was HUGE and again - spotless. The AC was always too cold or too hot, but the suite setup was really nice. The variety of pools and pool spaces to sit and enjoy was nice - and well thought out. Being attached to the Venetian allowed for lots of restaurant and shopping choices. Collapse

This was my second time staying at the Palazzo and I went with a group of 12 for my birthday. I had the most amazing time and memories that will last for a long time. Their website is super easy to navigate for reservations and they were offering a great rate. Definitely get on their mailing list as they often send great resort credits. Our check in with Martha was great, she was quick and genuinely made us feel welcomed at the property which can be difficult at a property the size of Palazzo. All of the employees we encountered were great and answered our questions. Looking forward to coming back as I did not have the chance to try the spa or some of the restaurants! Also, room was spotless, no dings scratches or anything which is hard to come by in Vegas. The only thing I would suggest is better WiFi but I understand a hotel of that size must have a ton of people on their WiFi server. Definitely look into this property you will not be disappointed!
