Maid service (resupplying the room) was bad. Had to ask for more coffee pods twice - weren't the dirty cups a hint? Used drinking glasses weren't replaced for two days, The plastic bathroom glasses were never replaced after the first night (out of five). Food a the bar was mediocre and service was horrible. Took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to order and get our food - only three other tables were occupied! and everything that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm. Hotel was modern, clean and convenient - that's the good I can say. Collapse

Arrived today and checked into this modern hotel, nice modern and clean look. Checkin staff were very welcoming and helpful. Going on vacation and 1st stop was London, and as luck would have it I had an early flight into London, so about a week before I was to arrive I called up Novotel London Waterloo to see if they by chance had early check in, I was told that it wasn’t something they could guarantee but that they could store the luggage if I wanted to explore the city. That sounded fine to me, so I didn’t think anything of it. The day came and arrived at the hotel way before 9am and to my surprise they had the room ready for us! We were staying in room 331, it was a nice room that slept 3 comfortably. 2 double beds and a sofa pull out. The bathroom was split, the toilet was separate from the sink and shower, which was ok with us. Didn’t have much a room view since it overlooked a police station (men in uniforms is never a bad view). The room had a flat screen tv, coffee/tea maker and mini bar. Great closet space as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, plenty of bus stops around, underground station is apx 10 minute walk and close to the London Eye. Enjoyed my stay while in London! Collapse

My family stayed at the Novotel London Waterloo in April for 5 nights and were very pleased with our visit. Upon arrival, we were greeted politely and our children were given little stuffed animal key chains which they loved. Our room was clean and quiet. Never during our stay were we bothered by noise from our neighbors. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel our first night because we were too tired to go out. Though I wouldn't consider myself a foodie, I'm usually not impressed with food from the restaurants inside a hotel, but we found the meals to be very good. We especially liked the hotel because of its close proximity to many popular London attractions. A tube station was about a 5 minute walk away, but we could also walk out of the hotel in the morning and cross the Lambeth Bridge and be right near the houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. We could also easily walk to Buckingham Palace and Saint James Park. In the evenings, when we were tired of walking we found we could take a bus back and get off at a bus stop right across the street from the hotel (very convenient!). We also found the customer service to be great. Prior to our stay, I had originally booked the hotel for a 3 night stay. We later decided to extend our visit another 2 days and I booked the other 2 days separately. I emailed the hotel to ask if they could keep us in the same room over the 5 days even though there were two separate reservations and they immediately returned my email and said they could accommodate my request. Additionally, we realized that we were staying in the city during the London Marathon, so I asked at the front desk if it gets really busy on the day of the race and if we should make plans to be elsewhere in London or even leave the city for the day. She was unsure of how the area would be affected, but went online for me and looked up the race route to show me what areas might be affected. I thought that was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and would stay here if I visit London again! Collapse

The hotel es near to the Buckingham Palace and Big Ben, and you can walk to the other attractions. Also, it is located near to the underground. The hotel is modern and quiet, the rooms are big. And the personal was kind and fast.
