We booked a overnight spa break through spabreaks. We were a little disappointed with the late check in but were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room to find a anniversary card and box of chocolates on our bed. Was a basic small room but was fine for us. The spa area is nice but there are a lot of families so quite noisey in the pool. We thought a half hour treatment would give us some peace but there was someone using a hedge trimmer right outside the treatment room window ♀️ not exactly the relaxing massage we were hoping for. Staff are very good! Brilliant for families just not the best for couples looking for a romantic relaxing time away. Collapse

We booked the Afternoon Revive package which gives full access to the spa from 2pm to 4pm and includes a cream tea and a 25 minute treatment. We booked the deep tissue back massage. Full price £49.50, which we felt was very reasonable. The weather was foul so we packed up and left our campsite and arrived an hour early, intending to have a coffee and hang out until 2pm. Had our coffee, which was really nice and reasonably priced at £3.50, and they were happy for us to go in early, which was great. The spa is very well equipped with a small swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, hydro jets, steam room, sauna and an outdoor hot tub. The massage was wonderful and the masseur was very friendly and kind. Thoroughly recommend. After another quick dip we had our cream tea. Again we went in a bit early and the staff were really accommodating and kind. The cream tea was top-notch (and I have VERY high standards for cream teas, as my wife will confirm!) Back to the spa again, we decided a glass of prosecco in the outdoor hot tub would be the ideal end to the afternoon. The staff brought it out to us. Again, nothing was too much trouble. We left for home at the end of the day feeling very relaxed and having had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Collapse

We stayed here with our toddler. We used the crèche most days for 2 hours and enjoyed relaxing in the spa without a toddler! It felt like a proper holiday. Room was nice but we were only there to sleep really. We used the video monitor in the evening so we could go to the bar and restaurant whilst the toddler slept in the room. Also worth mentioning is that there are a couple of quiet lounges which aren't located next to the bar or restaurant and where you can just sit. Useful if you have already eaten (and like us, need to finish a bottle of wine purchased from another restaurant but not finished there due to a toddler tantrum!!). There were a few minor niggles which I've fed back to the management on. The main thing for me would be to have meals for toddlers which are the right size (the "small" portion was absolutely huge, despite our toddler being a very good eater, and it was such a waste of food). Service was sometimes a little lacking, but the staff were all very pleasant. However, none of these issues would stop us visiting again. I thought the room rate that we paid was very reasonable considering that breakfast, 2 hours childcare and spa access was included each day. The hotel was very well located for Peppa Pig world (about 25 minutes by car) and also for trips to nearby Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Lymington. For Peppa Pig world, we took a picnic bought in Lyndhurst - there is a tiny little sandwich shop with no seating and we got some very nice sandwiches with salad, for a reasonable price, there. We will hopefully be back! Collapse

We have just finished our stay having booked 2 nights on the peppa Pig package. We felt like we got good value for money and had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay. Breakfast and lunch were lovely and the evening meal was all very good. We fed our toddler at high tea then used the video monitor provided by the hotel which worked excellently. It went out of signal (as did other people’s) briefly one evening, but the hotel were quick to reset the internet and get them working again. There were many parents using that service and it allowed for a rare relaxing meal away. The crèche were really accommodating (book in advance as there was only 1 slot left when we rang a week before our stay). The pool was great, and plenty of outdoor and indoor space for children to play. I wouldn’t recommend staying if you don’t have children as it may not be the relaxing experience you are after - but anyone with kids will find the hotel perfect. The drinks are quite pricey, but that is not unusual in hotels similar to this one. All in all we would highly recommend the hotel! Collapse
