The New Inn Hotel was well located in the centre next to the church. All staff were very helpful and we had lovely food. Our room was a very large twin bed room with en suite (power shower a bit too powerful). Good location to visit well known Cotswold villages or just to walk round the corner and sit and watch narrow boats and the swans on the Thames. A Xmas present that ticked all the boxes. Collapse

I am 38 weeks pregnant, my fiancé and I were looking for a cosy weekend get away before we have our baby. The new inn hotel was an amazing little find! On arrival, we we welcomes by the ?owner. He upgraded our room to the court yard which was absolutely stunning. Throughout our stay, he and the rest of the staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble! Breakfast was incredible! It was really well cooked and there was so much!! We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was simply incredible! Very very well cooked and very reasonable pricing. The whole atmosphere in the pub and hotel was warm and welcoming. We are definitely planning to revisit the New Inn very soon. Thank you for an incredible stay. Collapse

We stayed here for one night in January, to enable us to visit the Cotswolds. A great base to visit Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold and Burford. Our room and bathroom was very spacious (no 12), nicely decorated and very clean. We had our evening meal in the pub which was lovely, good old pub grub. The breakfast was plentiful, a selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, and then a choice of hot breakfasts. Again, very nice. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. Collapse

We had an enjoyable stay so that we could visit family so didn’t use the facilities much. The bar is warm and friendly and is used by many locals as well as visitors. There are plenty of rooms for people to book not only in the old part of the hotel but in the court yard too on ground level which perhaps the more elderly customer would appreciate more. The New Inn is old and a listed building so it comes with stairs and low ceilings in places. Very quirky. Collapse

I booked a single room (10) for one night while in the area on business. The building is in a great spot in Lechlade. It is fair to say that the main building is pretty rough around the edges, lots of chipped paint, dated decor in urgent need of refurb etc. Room 10 is on the third floor up three flights of stairs so not easy to access with limited mobility or large bags - fortunately I had none of these. Frustratingly there was no way to use the hairdryer near a matter due to a very tightly coiled cable and the location of the sockets. I have given it four stars though as when I travel for work my requirements are for somewhere clean, safe and comfortable and it was all of these. The bed was comfortable, the bedding spotless, the bathroom was very clean with a decent shower. I had a room overlooking the square and it was pretty quiet. I had dinner in the restaurant with a large glass of wine, which was very pleasant and not too expensive and the full English breakfast in the morning was also very nice. The staff I met were very friendly and did their best to help. All in all I wouldn't book for a romantic, luxurious weekend but for a place to get my head down after a long day, absolutely. Collapse
