Let me start with: this hotel has so much history! For what I understand it was Paris’ first Boutique hotel?? AKA 5 stars in its prime! The it place for celebrities! I was pretty excited to arrive as it gave me Athénée Vibes... the hotel is located a minutes from the arch & champs elysees so thts awesome... the staff was nice ... the hotel is beautiful... very much inspired by the 20s and 30s ( when it was built and it’s prime) here is where is got weird ... I think it may be haunted... I know it sounds stupid... but my mom and I have always had a degree of sensitivity to that stuff... it’s not my first rodeo at this annoying stuff although I wish it was the last... i decided to be a silly and say “ wow this place is really old, I wonder if there are ghosts” my mom immediately grilled me ... Well someone or something answered... I had already been totally uncomfortable with the giant mirror on the wall... it made me very uneasy to look into it... well long story short something sat right next to me on the bed while i slept I screamed, recoiled and sat up looking in panic in the direction of the indentation on the mattress and my mom saw the whole thing... well I slept with my parents for the next two nights... so enjoy the hotel just don’t ask stupid questions because you never know who’s listening and down to answer Collapse

A very elegant hotel in the heart of Paris. Clean everything, gracious staff, love the toilets coz of the bidet. The restaurant and bar is very relaxing during off hours, a quiet place to sip your favorite drinks as for me it’s tea.

I had the pleasure of returning to the Hotel Napoleon and as usual they were magnificent! I spent a total of 12 nights here (10 nights in one shot, then 2 nights)over two separate stays during my trip to France. Both rooms were very nice and the beds/pillows/linens were quite comfortable. I can’t say how nice it is to arrive at a hotel after a long overnight flight and be welcomed (even remembered)with a genuine friendly greeting and staff. The check-in was very quick and they had me in my room in less than 10 minutes (mostly because I was speaking my questionable French, lol). The room I stayed in (201) did have one issue in that it was quite warm (the temperature had just started to get quite warm in Paris around that time) and the AC was not turned on yet and the fan function of the unit did not seem to be functioning. In order to help me feel more comfortable they gave me a fan to use which was perfect. I slept like a baby every night. The second room (307) was very similar with the exception that it had a shower stall in addition to the bathtub which I personally prefer. Still both rooms had the awesome rain-shower head (directly above you) that had great pressure and heat. Honestly, it is the best shower I have ever experienced in a hotel. Also, both rooms looked out over Avenue de Friedland. Noise was not a issue as both rooms were quiet. I also love the location of this hotel as it central to most sites and the Metro is literally one minute away. If you are considering this hotel, do it and don’t think twice. Everything is first rate from the staff, to the rooms, to the location. Collapse
