Stayed here for two nights mainly due to the location and having car parking. It is okay, the room was okay (but the shower was rubbish) breakfast was okay but over priced as the only choice was the full buffet, even if you just wanted coffe and a croissant. Front desk staff were really good albeit when sorting out broken tv remote and missing light bulbs. Collapse

Great location just opposite the cathedral and only half an hour away from Stonehenge. Plenty of free parking spaces at the back of hotel, free WiFi Unlimited use. I was streaming all night. The staff are very friendly, polite the provided fantastic hospitality. The rooms are very clean, spacious, the beds are very comfortable and all the rooms are equipped with air conditioner for when you get hot or too cold. Food was good quality also portion was adequate in size. The staff are very attentive and keen to assist your every need. The only issue with this hotel was the squeaking floor boards, you can hear the floor squeaking above when the other guess are walking around. Apart from this I really can’t fault this hotel, I would definitely stay here again if I should visit the city again. One more thing the little garden at the back is a good chill spot very quiet and relaxing love it. This hotel is up like seven and so are the staffs, thanks to you all ! Collapse
Sad and indesperate need of updating.

So, after checking in to a room I had booked (this being a double) for a not so shy 130 quid...we immediately requested an upgrade. Firstly a terrible smell from possible dirty carpets and curtains? Unsure but the room just smelt dirty. Then a good look in the ensuite which was far from adequate. A green tarnish on bath taps not to mention all the mildew and orange coloured scum collected around most edges of the bath, stained tiles and a powdery residue in the bath. This is all pretty much what you would maybe expect In some budget hotels but certainly not for a 'decent' overpriced hotel room in prestigious Salisbury. We noticed there was no water in the room which is a no brainier for ANY hotel room. I asked front of house staff the next morning and the reply I got was ...not all rooms have water. A seriously bad hotel that acts as if it's upper class! Please avoid. Also don't expect an on call service at anytime through the night....if you need a basic bottle of water you have to go and ask for it and then your handed an open bottle with no top full of warm tapwater. 100% dreadful Collapse

Stayed here this weekend, won’t be staying again ! Firstly the room we were given was meant to be a double room but instead we found 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single headboards and about a foot of gap between the 2 headboards exposing sharp edges of the head boards , we asked to be moved to another room which they did for us but this room was dirty and smelt old and musty , the taps in the bathroom were covered in green scale and lime scale , the shower was so scaled up it hardly worked . To be honest the whole hotel needs freshening up as it has a constant old danc smell through out and many fittings are tired and torn . For £130 per night I would expect a lot more . Collapse
