I visited here on the 10th Aug with family. We read many mixed reviews, but thought it would be worth a go. Much to my surprise the reviews were very honest and I was very dissapointed with this hotel. Firstly, the rooms were average nothing to amazing. I had a back view room of the park, although most people with pool view rooms were not impressed with the entertainment finishing at 12pm as you could not sleep any earlier then 12pm due to the noise. Secondly, we were all inclusive although our all inclusive could not be used until 10am, which to me is ridiculous! I would go down for breakfast at 8am and from there any drinks I wanted I had to pay for! This to me is outrages, baring in mind the pool does not open until 10am so you have to sit around for 2 hours before the pool opens and before you can get a drink! Not ideal if you have little kids, as they get frustrated waiting around. Thirdly, if you want a sunbed you have to que from 7am that morning for an hour to get a bed, otherwise your left to sit by the chairs. The bar staff are very friendly, although I cant say that about the people in the restuarant who were serving our drinks! They were so moody and looked more then depressed to be there. We were also told to come back later for breakfast because there were no tables, so to me starting my day at 1030am on holiday is too late! The food is disgusting, if you have kids do not even bother they will not eat a thing! I will not be returning here at all.. Collapse

Just got back from a weeks stay at the mediterraneo and thoroughly enjoyed it. The check in was flawless, rooms are large and kept immaculately clean. Food was plentiful and all at the right temperatures. If there's only one niggle and I don't know if the hotel can actually do anything about it but we found that the stampede at 8 am for the sunbeds was farcical and having a disabled child we would have liked to be close to the baby pool but these beds were every day taken up by people that didn't even have a child of any age with them, meaning we were usually sat over the other side of the main pool with a child that had mobility problems who couldn't use the baby pool as often as he would have liked. I think I'm all hotels there should be some sort of rule for parents to be near the children's pools. This was made worse as said adults placed their towels there at 8 and were nowhere to be seen until the afternoon. Again, not a complaint about the hotel as such just very annoying. Other than that we had a fab time and would definately return . Collapse

Myself and family and friends have just returned from 2 great weeks here. 6 adults 2 ten year olds 1 five year old and a 14 year old so very mixed group. The hotel is stunning very clean and modern and only 2 floors up! Which is great for kids. The entertainment team worked very hard to make sure there was something on for everyone. Their are only 3 of them so they have the work cut out. There was a show on each night that all our kids enjoyed and a mini disco. The food was as you would find any any AI hotel. Something to suit most people snd a snack bar open in between times. We chose to eat out a few nights just for variety. They have a strict 1 drink per card rule and only 2 adult cards per customer which has its advantages and disadvantages. They could be doing with more bar staff on during busy times as the ques can be long. However the bar staff are all very pleasant. The maid came every day with fresh towels and made the beds. The drinks around the pool are served in paper cups (like McDonalds) so i suggest to take a plastic cup if you dont like wine in a paper cup. (I wish i thought of it before i went) the pool is very clean however you are not permitted to take inflatables in the pool so dont splash out on Lilo's. The life guard also told a child to take a t-shirt off in the pool (the kid had sunburn) the mum went to reception to complain (quite rightly so) they do allow swimming tops on though. We usually holiday in turkey and i must admit although the kids had fun. The entertainment staff in turkey are 2nd to none. All in all we had a good time. Collapse

This was my second visit to the Mediterraneo. Had a great stay. Bedrooms are very spacious and cleaned daily. The hotel is spotless. Staff are so friendly. Especially Tery who works on the bar . Lovely lady. The restaurant has a lovely selection of food. Low rise accommodation which is perfect and the location is just up the hill from the strip so a quieternity area across from benidorm palace. It is a great hotel for families. Lifeguard by the pool. The only thing is the sunbeds in summer. You have to queue as there is tape across until 8.00 a. M..then the security guys let it go and people are just pushing and shoving. I know it is height of season and trying to stop people putting towels out earlier. I just think the people shoving should get told and maybe an orderly queue wold be better. Overall I love this hotel . Would definitely return again. This was my second visit and when we got to the room we had a bottle of wine with 2 glasses with a thank you for returning to our hotel. That was a lovely thing to do. Many thanks. Another enjoyable stay. Collapse

We stayed at the hotel 4th July until 11 July all inclusive my family youngest 7mths oldest 70 years old. Hotel was fab for all of us plenty to do & see I side and outside the hotel. We booked through Jet2 they were very good even picked our luggage up 10:30 the day we were leaving and we didn't see it again until we got to Manchester. I would recommend hotel to anyone. Short bus journey on any bus to beach very regular or bit of a walk if your fit. Enjoy if you decide to go. We had a great time. Collapse
