The mark of quality for any guest based service is how you handle a problem when it occurs. Our stay at Riad Star was cut short by the ceiling in our room leaking water due to a fault with pipe in the room above. Sadly the hotel was fully booked so there were no other rooms available but we came to an agreement with the manager and found somewhere else. The team at the Riad Star couldn’t have been more apologetic and disappointed of what happened. That coupled with their unwavering focus to put as much right as possible reinforces that this Riad is one you’d recommend to anyone. Location is perfect for the sooks and the app they have developed helped us navigate our way around pretty easily. The roof terrace is lovely for soaking up the sun and eating breakfast and dinner. Worth noting that the Riad doesn’t sell alcohol but the app tells you of a few places nearby that does. Would happily recommend. Collapse

Stayed with a friend in the peace room. Lovely room. Lovely staff. We were helped a lot by Ali who was always around to help. The app is a must and this is how we found our way around the town. The riad organised a walking tour which was very good. We ate there the first night and the food was excellent. Alcohol isn’t available at the riad and was difficult to source. We wished we had bought at the airport on way out. We would have no hesitation in recommending it. Collapse

When in Marrakech staying in a Riad is must. I chose Riad Star based on the reviews on Tripadvidor and the photos on their website. After I had booked my trip I contacted the Riad. Before I even realized I was all set for my trip - airport pick up booked, dinner at the time of arrival etc. The Riad itself met all my expectations and more. I felt lucky having the Chiquita room on the roof terrace - beatifully decorated and spacious. Also, the service was top-notch! Nothing was too much trouble (like they say) and the staff made me feel very welcome all the time. As the Riad is located in the Medina, it is a little "hidden" in one of the small alleys. However, after I had downloaded their App, which has an offline GPS-map feature, I was able to find my way back to the Riad from even the smallest of alleys. The App also helps one to find different attractions, restaurants etc. I had a very relaxing and wonderful stay - highly recommend! Collapse

The dinner at the Riad was very tasty and the staff were very kind and helpful. Azziz (one of the staff there) was very nice and spoke very good English. The rooms were nice and there were hot showers and decent Wi-fi . There is a nice terrace on the top with chairs and a beautiful view . Collapse
