Apartment great having read some reviews. Very clean and small things damaged when going in but nothing to detriment the stay. It is above Mansion House but you get used to the tubes fairly quickly and over all very good. The number of light switches was very odd and my fridge/dishwasher etc didn’t work (probably just me being a bit thick). Would have preferred that the fridge etc was just on all the time when you go in. Especially with the water bottles in when I came in but as I was out most of the time anyway it didn’t affect my stay at all really. Very comfortable, and for the price and amenities compared to the box hotel rooms around the rest of London I thought it was brilliant. Definitely will stay here/another Marlin location again. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Collapse

Stayed here on Valentines as we had a gig to attend at Embankment.Perfect location as Mansion House tube station was literally around the corner. On arrival the staff were attentive and gave us information on the area and where to visit .We dropped our bags off and went to see St Paul’s Cathedral and even to Paternoster Square to Paternoster Chop House were the First Dates Programme is filmed ! The one bed apartment was clean and spacious.Three of us were staying and we had the sofa bed which was made up ready for arrival , it was very comfy! Had a wonderful nights sleep. In the morning we had a walk on the South Bank and walked across Millennium Bridge to the Tare Gallery . You are in a financial district so you will have offices but you are in the middle of London that’s to be expected ! I love Marlin apartments and have used them on two prior occasions in different locations and plan to use them each time as locations are well sourced for visitors to the Capital. Collapse

We booked 4 rooms over a period of a couple of weeks for staff visiting from overseas. No one booking was straightforward for various reasons, however all our requests, questions and changes were dealt with fantastically by Toni Oredein from the Reservations Team. Toni provided first class customer service, she made all the bookings promptly and efficiently, at great rates, and provided all instructions for pre-payment and check in by return. Thank you Toni! The windows view in our room is facing a building with lots offices. I even can see what they are typing in their computer. I can’t open curtains (curtains is broken too ) whole day when we were there 2 weeks. In the apartment’s website, I like the photo with natural sunshine in the living room , but in our room, there is no day light and night view all the time. I’m super disappointed. The shower is fixed on the wall. So it’s inconvenient to me to use the bathroom. Bus stop, tube station just within 1 minutes , very convenient. But in London, transportation is convenient everywhere, so I will not recommend and go back again. Collapse

Their apartments are very spacious and clean, perfect for families. I really don't have any complaints except for the bad experience I had. Upon arrival, I was told that they had overbooked the room type I booked and they had sent me an email the day before. They offered a relocation to their other property, but since I had booked our transportation at Blackfriars Station already, I had to stay in the area. So they put us (me, my mom, and my boyfriend) in a one-bedroom apartment with a pull out couch on the first night and then the next day we'd move to the 2-bedroom that I booked. Anyway once I had settled in the room I checked my emails and found that they sent me an email only ONE HOUR before I checked in! I was already in London! This ticked me off so much, but I was honestly too exhausted from traveling all day to argue. No compensation was offered as well even when we were basically downgraded on our first night. And it didn't help that the reason I booked this hotel is because the first hotel I booked apparently overbooked, but at least they informed me before I even left for Europe and I had time to sort things out (London was our last stop). So yes, I just had to rant. More pros: - It's location is very central, close enough to most attractions that you don't have to take the bus/subway. - Each apartment has a "handy" - a mobile phone with free data and local calls. This was very useful as we were meeting up with family and I was able to make phone calls with this. - The apartments are perfect for families and for long stay. The kitchen is very modern and well-equipped. They also have a washer and dryer in the apartments. Again, aside from the overbooking and informing me ahead of time BS, the rest of the hotel is great.
