Just got home from Lovely week at this hotel. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and work hard to keep it clean. Food was excellent serve self snack bar (hotdogs / pizza / burgers /chips /salad /cold meat ) served from 11am to 6pm Lovely choice of breakfast./ lunch /evening meal. If it looks like you can't see a clean table in restaurant the manager will find you one in minutes. Pizzeria was also lovely- you can eat once there if you wish. Bar again couldn't fault - serve your self water /soft drinks / milkshake. Ice cream pots / lollipops from 10am - bar close. Bog standard local / strong spirts / beer etc served. Entertainment through out day for kids and adults- could be louder but this was never issue for us. Choice of three pools to suit all ages. Small kids arcade but our 8year old loved it. Lots of fun had on small football pitch. Our room looked onto the front of main road but it was very quiet and we had no issues. The room was cleaned daily and the air conditioning went down very well (keep door closed sand card in all day ) Yes there is a queue for sunbeds in morning but that's if you choose to (I did to make sure ) The hotel is set away from crazy nightlife but close to beach and promande where you can walk around. All in all well worth the money All staff there work very hard to ensure your stay in a good one Collapse

The people that leave poor reviews for this hotel must be really petty and have nothing better to do! This was our first family holiday abroad. My self the wife and a 9yr old and 2yr old. We can't speak high enough of this place.! We were there from the 9th to 19th August. Never did we see people acting like animals or any bad behaviour what so ever. Yes there were kids running around... but it's a family hotel and to be expected! They never created a problem though or out of control. The food was amazing could not fault it at all. Always lots of choice and could always find something to eat. The snack bar was really nice and lots to chose from there. The drink selection was far greater than I expected for all inclusive nearly every drink you could think of in the selection. Soft drinks help your self was perfect. Also help your self soft drinks, larger and wine at meal times in the restraunt. The room was a good size considering we had a double bed, travel cot and single bed in the one room still room to move! The bathroom was a good size with a very good over the bath shower in there. The aircon was spot on. After a day in the sun getting in to the room it was nice and cool and made sleeping a lot easier in the heat. The room was cleaned every day. There is a hanger to put on your door handle to say if you want it cleaned or not. The cleaners even put the toddlers blanket back nicely in his travel cot and would put any shoes nice and tidy. Can't fault them they really do a great job and go above and beyond. The entertainment was non stop. There is kids clubs through out the day but also games are put on for adults aswell! At night time it did seem a bit cheesy on times but this is no fault of the entertainment staff who really work their socks off non stop all day and night! Think they just need to be given a bigger budget and a few more staff to really put some amazing evening shows on. We took part in their first ever pool party. Wow how good was that! The one pool was full of foam from the foam machine with games and dancing for both kids and adults! This was an amazing night and shows juts what can be done if the entertainment staff are given more control and better budget.... so please alua sort this out for them! They deserve it! The pools are fantastic! One deep pool, one kids depth pool and a fun splash pool for the kids. People say about having to walk to the bar and toilets is too far! It's like 30 secs to either! So nit picky! Sun beds..... We never went down and qued up..... We had sun beds every day! This is plenty of them there and if you open your eyes and look there are spares piled up if none are available... just grab your own! The staff are superb. Every member of staff always had a smile and always made the effort to say hello and no matter how busy they were never showed it. Made and effort with the kids and were always more than happy to help how ever they could! If we decide to go to Majorca again next year then we would definitely go back to here! Wouldn't have to think about It!. So please don't let bad reviews put you off. We met one family who nearly cancelled because of them and they were so happy they never as they loved it just as much as us. This hotel is just going to get better and you just need to give It the chance! If the hotel would like to get in touch with us we stayed in room 235 so you have our email address if you want to ask us anything about our review. Thanks. Collapse

Just back from a lovely 10 days at Aluasun Torrenova and have to say I was a bit dubious before we went due to some of the reviews.left on here but I needn't have worried because this hotel is lovely! We went in a large family group of 9 adults and 4 children. My husband, 2 children and myself had a family room which had a room with double bed and sofa plus an additional bedroom with twin beds. The room was a good size with plenty of storage space and very clean. If you want to take close-up photos of a few scuff marks or a bit of dust on the floor then go ahead but there was nothing at all wrong with the room. Because of the position we had a good view of the pool areas although the balcony was a bit smaller than the other rooms. Everyone else in our party had double/twin rooms, one with an additional bed which would have been too small for us but that because we usually like apartments. Rooms were given a once over every day and towels changed if you left them in the bath. I thought the food was lovely. Yes, it can get repetitive if you eat the same things every day but everything I had was tasty well cooked and plenty of variety. Breakfast is great with proper bacon and fried bread which I have never known on all inclusive. Twice while we were there (Thursdays) they have the most delicious roast beef and Yorkshire puddings on.I was a little disappointed with the kids buffet but my son was happy enough with the pizza although give the chicken nuggets a miss. Desserts were also amazing and the chocolate fountain went down a treat! The outside snack bar is also handy and serves food all day until 6pm, the usual burgers, hotdogs, salad etc. Drinks were plentiful, (I loved the 'white coffee') soft drinks (including chocolate milkshake) were self-service or you could ask at the bar if you want to avoid the wasps! The lager seemed nicer on an afternoon (not sure why) and cocktails are out of a machine but this is the same in most all inclusive hotels. All barstaff were very friendly and polite (same cant be said about some of the guests who didn't seem able to say please or thank you!) Pool areas - the pools are lovely and on 3 levels the only letdown is the lack of space. You'll have read reviews about the fight for sunbeds...well yes it's true, the doors are opened at 8.30 and people start queuing well before this. I didn't find this a problem on the whole as we put our towels down in the queue (like everyone else) and sat with a coffee until opening time. Then once the door is open everyone heads out and grabs their space...it was usually rather civilised but towards the end of our holidays it seemed to get a lot busier and on the last morning a lot of people just barged their way to the front and were literally shoving people out of the way! Of course this is not the hotels fault it's the ill-mannered 'guests'! Also we did notice people must go down very very early, place their towels beside the door and head back to their rooms until just before 8.30 which I think is a bit unfair. Having said that, the same happens in almost all hotels and if you could always get a sunbed (there were usually still little piles scattered around) it would just be a struggle to find somewhere to put it. I was annoyed at someother guests total lack of respect and manners and lots seemed to think it was fine to leave their empties piled up under the beds and plates of food laid all over the place - but the staff were constantly going rounds clearing up after them (but they shouldnt need to, have these people not heard of bins!) Pool closes around6so that the beds can be cleared away to make room for the night time tables. The entertainment was fine, I wouldn't say it was any better or worse than other hotels I've been too. All the entertainment staff worked very hard to keep everyone happy and there were a few shows such as dancing, parrot show and reptile show. The sound system is a bit quiet and you need to be right in front to hear it properly but I'm told this is due to sound reducers so it doesn't affect surrounding hotels. The hotel opposite (TRH Torronova?) is definitely a party hotel with lots of groups of young people out for a good time in magaluf so we did witness some rowdy behaviour, shouting chanting etc, (and someone being sick over the balcony yuk!) but this only happened a couple of times and you can just ignore it. We did have a laugh one night when the kids were doing the conga and a group of lads on their balcony joined in! All in all this is a fabulous hotel and we had a lovely holiday. I love Palma Nova anyway and don't think you can go far wrong with this hotel. All staff, from reception, cleaners to bar and waiting staff work so hard and still have a smile and a 'hola' for you. To the complainers out there - If you want 5 star luxury you're going to have to pay 5 star prices in a 5 star resort! Thank you Aluasun for a lovely holiday! :) Collapse

This was our first time at this hotel and to be really honest we holiday 2,3 times a year but I would not go back here! Not that it was really bad food was good but drinks are in a plastic cup day and night. You can only have 2 at a time which is a nightmare when you are a group. Night entertainment isn't the best, and don't get me started about the sun bed situation . They lock the door to outside so no one can reserve beds so people get up about 6.30 am and make a queue with there towels by the door then stand there from 8.15 for the doors to open and then it's like a stampede to grab the beds and put them where you want them . Bit late with the review here but here goes....We stayed here last year for 2 weeks and really couldn't fault it! It's clean, the maids come every day and are so pleasant and friendly. The food was lovely, plenty to choose from and often went back for seconds! Great snack bar outside too during the day. The drinks were ok, your typical all inclusive range. The pool were clean and always got a sunbed. Location was great, round the corner from beach, bars and restaurants. The staff in particular were what made our stay, so helpful and friendly! The kids club staff were fantastic too. All in all I'd definitely come back in a heart beat. Thankyou for a great stay! Collapse
