It was clean. we had a comfy bed and it was right on top of everything you could ever want to see in NYC. A few clocks to Central Park, practically on top of Broadway and near a subway. Staff was nice and helpful. I would stay again.

Saw this hotel had mixed reviews but thought id take a chance with it as i got a good deal with Agoda. In a nutshell, the staff are rude (particularly Linda & her manager was just as rude and useless) apart from the lovely bellman Adam - any problems don't waste your time with others, go straight to him as he seems to do everyones job in that place!! be prepared for a security fee of $50 a night upon check in and the resort fee which gets you awful slow wifi if your on the 20th floor like i was and free calls which is useless when your phone doesn't work. The rooms - don't let the photos fool you -do not look like that - see the traveller photos on here. If you want a renovated room don't bother putting in a request as you won't get one (we tried), you have to pay extra as they are the 'executive rooms' we were told. Otherwise expect a basic, less than premier inn standard room which is run down and in serious need of an upgrade. i advise you also take light clothing to sleep in if your on a high floor because the windows can't be opened and therefore its gets VERY hot in such a small environment, and of course to make this worse our air-con was very temperamental positive points: the location is great, every sub stop you need in walking distance and times square of course is right on your door step. i have to put adam down here as well because if it wasn't for him i would have demanded my money back i was put in that much of a bad mood due to the way i was treated upon check in. He deserves so much more respect then just a 'bell man' (he had better customer service than those working in the customer service positions) and a pay rise!!! lobby is nice too, the only up to date part of the hotel i visited. Advice (if you do still want to take the risk with this hotel): for those young adult travellers like myself choosing to stay here be prepared; they'll talk to you like you're a 5 year old, acting as if you shouldn't be staying there without an adult and they'll speak down to you like you're dumb telling you everything your saying to them is incorrect. if you phone the hotel prior, make sure you get everything in writing because i made the mistake of not doing so and it caused an argument when checking in. no one wants this after hours of travelling so save yourself the aggro!! All i can say is I'm disappointed more than anything in this hotel. i was hoping to come back and write a brilliant review saying its changed from what others have said but in reality it hasn't and i don't think it will. Would i stay here again? Simply, No. you can get a better hotel with nicer rooms and staff for the price you pay for this outdated one. Collapse

We had problems checking in when we first got here due to miss-communication with our travel agents- the staff were quite rude and not very helpful in the situation which made it even more stressful but in the end it ended up being sorted out. The hotel is nice as you first walk in but the rooms are very dated. I don't usually say bad things about hotel rooms because it doesn't usually bother me as you aren't in the hotel much but considering the price of this hotel you'd think they'd spend some money updating the rooms. When you come out of the lift the carpets look really dirty and there is just a general bad smell in the place- it would look much better with tiled flooring. The cleaners also take up most of the corridors with their cleaning trolleys which leaves you dodging everything trying to get to your room. The rooms weren't great and the only good thing I can really say about the hotel is the location! The location was fantastic! Overall it was an amazing holiday and I'm glad we chose to stay on Times Square, I just will be choosing a different hotel next time! Collapse

I loved staying at this hotel! Everyone was very friendly. Especially our favorite doorman "Adam Garcia"! I believe he truly helped make our stay special. He goes above and beyond to help every guest! This hotel is convenient to everything. The price is very reasonable...especially when compared to all of the other hotels. It may not be new and updated...but I only sleep and shower there. And everything was very adequate for those purposes. I definitely will return on my next visit to NYC! Collapse
