This hotel is rated 4 Star, this is no where near, 3 star at a push. One advantage it is near the beach, and is up a hill but not heart attack hill as some people have said, it really isn't that bad. This hotel caters mainly for the Spanish guests, they really do not like the British staying here. Here is a summary. Room. We had a family suite with balcony, which was really spacious, but the bathroom was awful. The coating of the bath was all chipped away, cracks everywhere, the fan didn't work so the walls in the rooms were dripping wet and the smell of damp was terrible, we even had a wood lice visit. Food. This was the worst food ever! There was nothing you could make a meal out of. All the vegetarian section had meat in it, even the salads. The Pork chop one night was so undercooked it nearly lept off the plate and ran back into the field. There is a queueing rule for when the restaurant is busy, except if you're Spanish, waiters seat them with utmost priority. The glasses were all dirty with lipstick marks on them, the cutlery had food still stuck of them. Entertainment. This was segregated, one room for Brits and one for the Spanish. The Brits room was a pokey room which resembled a working mans club, whilst the Spanish has a massive room with comfy seating. Why have two, just have one for everybody. Pools. These looked quite good, the slides were on but the water was far far too cold to use, but some people did brave it. Staff. They were ok, but again didn't really like the Brits being there invading their hotel. Shame really. The Spanish guests here were the most aggressive rude people we have ever met, pushing and shoving, it wasn't nice. We will not be returning here. Collapse

Just got back had a great time me and 2 teenagers . Great choice great food . I have to compliment all the staff that were so welcoming and hard working the restaurant offered freshly cooked and various choices the breakfast had great bacon and freshly cooked eggs and omelettes ,pancakes etc kids loved them . The manager was so friendly . Sadly the water was freezing being Feb , roof top bar jacuzzi closed which was a tad disappointing ,we used the fenicia hotel a sister hotel , about 20 min walk 6.00 in taxi, has a heated pool as weather was a bit raining.magic rock bar staff were all great soooo funny and easy going ,! Sam entertainments was very nice and hard working . Acts on after bingo lingo were good too mostly tribute acts , or you could go to the Spanish bar full of elderly Spanish couples, cardiac hill was good exercise after eating so much . Very central too . Right near beach etc , we did segways and horse riding ,go karts and zoo . , all a small ride away most trips includes free transport, , the weather was good only one bad day for Feb , Overall ! I really loved it .one very small prob was that the maid only left 2 coffes every day and forgot all Towels too . Rooms had a kettle n fridge too, no English to channels sadly , One bonus when we arrived we had 4 cans in fridge inc one beer so it was very welcoming . Thankyou to all the FANTASTIC staff we loved it . Would highly recommend Collapse

This was a surprise birthday holiday to my partner. Check in was quick and easy, then getting the 10th floor was a bonus! But the key card was forever not working! And being on such a high floor and slow lifts it was a bit annoying for us to keep getting a new card for each time we left the room. it took a few days for them to finally get our lock key changed for us, with that aside I was looking forward to showing my partner the view from the 12floor Terrence and to chill out on, only to then find it was building site with the builders taking up the decking ect for refurbishment this is what sold me the holiday when I was picking the hotel so I was gutted it wasn't available. I asked to book for the spa mid week to then find out we can only use the spa on sat & sun up to 1hr at a cost of 3 euros per person!! that was another set back. The hotel was more for the Spanish than the English due to being 80% Spanish ect booking the hotel as they have the bigger restaurant & entertainment room but I can see why as the English wouldn't fill the space up as not many English there & the English restaurant and entertainment was just the right size for the amount of brits. The food was okay for what it was and the desert choices were good to. The entertainment for mid 20s is not what you want to watch with it being for 40+ with frank sinatra tribute or country and Weston or mid 60 singer but one night they had the amy Winehouse tribute that was absolutely amazing!!!!! I think they have a one younger tribute playing once a week but the other days are for the much more higher age bracket as I'm sure most mid 20 years old will be out in Benidorm clubbing it so I carnt complain. Sam the entertainer was absolutely amazing with us and made us feel welcome and puts 110% into her job you can see that she loves what she does as she goes beyond the point to make sure your having a good time she is a credit to the hotel! The only thing that let me down abit more was on checking out for being picked up at 8.10am for flight back to England was that we could not get any cereal or a hot drink or cold drink in any restaurants as they don't open till 8am we asked the man on reception if there was anywhere we could have a drink and he said no there no were open till 8am while shrugging his shoulders I then asked if we could change our English coins to euros to use the vending machine to get a drink he said no they don't have any change in euros he then replied u can have them two bottles of small waters what are left on the bar side ."basically they were people's left overs from the Night before not quite the usual checking out you expect when being there for the week in a 4* hotel Collapse
Brilliant 1 week stay!!

Myself, my wife and granddaughter have just returned from this amazing hotel in Benidorm. Where do I start? WE LOVED EVERYTHING!! Our check in experience was really helpful and all the staff were very polite and attentive. I would like to thank Frank the "Maitre d' " for making our holiday with our granddaughter Charlie even more special. The food was superb, we really enjoyed the traditional English breakfast (you even had HP sauce!!) Sunday roast was awesome and the bar had a large selection of British drinks. Even though it rained twice while we were there, we enjoyed the jacuzzi, spa and hot tub - a heated swimming pool would have been a bonus!! We stayed in room 619 and thought our value for money was excellent, we had 2 king size beds and a pool view. Our granddaughter went to kids club every day and she said she really liked Sam the entertainment manager, plenty of things to do to keep her occupied! Thank you everyone, From Tony, Bethan and Charlie xx Collapse

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Check in was easy and the Receptionist polite. However, the first night was not great. The walls were paper thin and we could hear people next door coughing and talking, a couple upstairs arguing and swearing and then, the worst bit of all, after just managing to get to sleep we were woken by the man upstairs snoring all night! Not the best! It literally felt like the holiday from hell! However, the next morning we went to reception and explained to a lovely, polite, distinguished gentleman at reception and he told us to come back after 2 and he would have another room ready for us. We did this and were so happy! He had given us a family room which was a lot bigger and had two double beds pushed together. The room was perfect and we slept like babies. The food was adequate. Nothing amazing but there was always something to eat and plenty of choice and, to be honest, for the price I wouldnt expect too much. The drink was lovely and of a really good quality. Alfondso, behind the bar was very sweet and charming and made a lovely mohito. The hotel is in a good location. We did not find the hill too bad and it was good exercise after drinking all the alcohol etc. A good hotel which is excellent value for money and the staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Everything was also extremely clean. Excellent value :) Collapse
