Great trip for a fleeting visit in London. Booking was a breeze, and really easy and convenient. The saving on the train fare was great and allowed us more money to spend in London. The hotel we stayed in was very basic and old but was a great location at Earls Court and right next to a tube station so we were able to travel around London with ease. Will definitely book through SuperBreak again! Collapse

Rooms as expected are fairly basic and fairly small but as long as you understand what it is, i.e. a budget hotel, it is fine.Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room.Earls Court is a good area and the hotel is about 200 yards from West Brompton Underground and Overground station. There is a bus stop directly across from the hotel entrance taking you to central London. Breakfast was typically English (bacon, sausage egg, beans) with plenty of toast. Orange juice and either tea or coffee was also served. Collapse

Hotel Lily in Earl's Court was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! We complained about the room we were allocated as it had mould and the smell was awful!! We were then given another room which when we went to close the window the handles fell off in our hand! It also had a bath mat covering a big white stain on the carpet and the bath had black stains in it which looked like mould spores! The shower also had no temperature thermostat!! We complained about that room and After seeing another which was even worse!! We settled for the fourth room which was very small but at least it was clean!! Would never stay their again!! Collapse

The stay in London was a chance to take a break from work and as we could not afford a holiday abroad, we decided to go to London and have lots of different things to do. We walked a lot hence the sore feet! We went to St James's Park and had a lovely coffee at The Orangery of Kensington Palace. We explored the park and it was a beautiful day so that was a bonus. We could not get over how much greenery there was to be found in the heart of London. We explored Kensington and the Knightsbridge area and popped into The Dorchester hotel to see how the other half live! It was amazing and it was full of beautiful flower displays. We also walked along The Embankment and explored Soho and China Town and my favourite place which is Covent Garden. On our last day we went to Camden Town and savoured up the atmosphere there. It was very busy and lively and a great experience. Our hotel was functional and the shower was the best thing about it, nice and hot and powerful but we got twin beds instead of a double! Collapse

At the first glance the hotel seemed rather nice, when you walk into the lobby it’s nice and open spaced. The reception staff is not very friendly or professional. When booking the hotel online, there was a specification on the payment method. We have selected to pay on the day by cash, when checking in was told that the funds have already been taken from the account. After specifically stating that would like to pay via cash when arriving at the property. The room is rather disappointing, the pictures on website aren’t anything like the actual place. The hallways of the hotel are damaged, badly painted. Carpets aren’t hoovered. In the room there’s dust everywhere, hair everywhere, badly cleaned, if at all. There’s only two plug socket and that’s by the tv. TV with a remote that doesn’t actually work. Went out for the morning whilst maid service was being done, came back expecting replenishment for coffee, trash taken out. None of that happened, attempted to call reception, the phone doesn’t work. This hotel is not the one to stay. There are so many disappointments in regards to this. Understandable it was shown as a two star rating on booking.com but still in the area that it’s located, you wouldn’t expect such disappointment. At least they do provide complimentary breakfast. Firstly I’d like to point out that this hotel is false advertising online. I personally booked the room on 14.03.18 and on arrival to the room it was nothing like the photos online. The paint work is peeling off the walls and around the windows, the skirting is hanging off the wall and the woodwork is pushing itself away from the wall because of how damp it is, the walls are damp as were the beds, the ceiling light wasn’t even fitted correctly and was hanging from the ceiling and the room smelt like mould and musty dampness. We were so disappointed our only other option was to sleep in the car as we had late nigh arrival. I’m not sure what room number it was however when spoken to the manager of lily hotel she suggested room 323 and said it was given to us on mistake….even if this room wasn’t meant for our booking I would suggest that it shouldn't be offered to anyone at all!! The receptionist was so unhelpful when approached and did not offer another room which lead us to book the Ibis hotel next door. I requested a refund of the full booking and only got my answer on 28.03.18...to my surprise they've refused the refund. DO NOT BOOK!! Collapse

Is it tired? Yes. Is it a bit run-down? Yes. Does it need updating? Yes. BUT, it's location can't be faulted. It's very close to the District Line at West Brompton and a relatively short walk to more lines at Earl's Court. My room was clean...old and tired...BUT clean. The staff I dealt with on reception and in the breakfast room were perfectly pleasant. The breakfast was adequate, 1 sausage, 1 piece of bacon, 1 fried egg, baked beans and 3 slices of toast with butter and jams washed down with coffee and orange juice. I stayed in room 209 which is at the rear of the building so couldn't hear road noise which may be an issue at the front. All in all, this place won't win any awards but for a night or 2 as a place to lay your head and grab a bite before heading out for the day it fits the bill. Collapse

I normally use Premier Inn for business, but on this occasion my client booked me in here. Having read up the reviews I was cautious. No need to be; many of the reviewer's can't have much else to do with their spare time Arrival was friendly; clean, fresh sheets and towels, room clean. Having read previous reviews I looked for signs of mould - very small spots could be found, but no worse than I've seen in most hotels. Perhaps a quick onceover with a spray wouldn't harm. Breakfast was from 07:00, but when I went down at 6:55 there were already half a dozen people there. Immediate service, food nothing special but quite adequate. Coffee good. As a previous reviewer has said there isn't any cereal - not the end of the world. Shortcomings - very few. Room was rather cramped and I had difficulty in spreading out files to work on, but for one night that's OK. For several nights I would look for somewhere with bigger rooms. Hot water - closer to tepid, so don't run cold in at the same time - no real problem unless you like to be picky. Plus points - has some car parking under the hotel. Only 2 minutes walk down the main road from West Brompton Underground Station, so easy to access from any main line rail station. Collapse
