Most of the clients were here for the opera festival like us and it was a very good choice as they had a shuttle to the arena. The rooms and the bathroom were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Everything worked perfectly. The breakfast had a great variety and was served in two separate locations, the lower having more fruit varieties. The restaurant and the staff was excellent. There was free WiFi. The lobby and the nearby bar were nice. The decorations pertaining to the opera costumes theme were very interesting and intelligent. Negative points: The car park should be free of charge for clients. There should be a kettle and tea and coffee in the rooms. The replies from the director should be in the language of the review. We don’t understand Italian and cannot read the answers. Collapse

We booked a last minute deal which included breakfast which was good.Only stayed one night ,The room was small but adaquite for our needs. The bathroom floor was dirty which I informed the receptionist about when we checked out,she only shrugged her shoulders.I certainly would have been disappointed if we payed full price and had to stay longer as it certainly is not a 4 star hotel. A very beautiful hotel located just outside the city center. When we first arrived we were tired and hungry, so we walked to the city to grab a bite. When we got back we noticed that there was no hot water or waterpressure, but we were so tired we just went to sleep. Next day we had breakfast at the hotel and it was super delicious. We notified the reception about the problem with the water and just 15 minutes later we had a working shower. The overall impression of this hotel and the staff, is that they are friendly and helpful, and it's a very nice hotel. The breakfast is great, the location is perfect. The roaring river outside is pleasant to sit next to on a hot day. Only minus I can think of is that the beds are a little hard. Collapse

Firstly I would like to say that this hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the station and about 20 minute walk from the centre of the town. Slightly out of the main part of Verona, but everything is walkable. The hotel itself is ok. But I would say that although you can feel that the hotel is air conditioned the room air conditioning is poor - and although I did complain I was told that it was working fine. The room was comfortable bus basic. One bathroom with 2 sinks, bath/shower bidet toilet. Hairdryer but again not very goo Also the hot water was better in the mornings than at night when it was only warm. The bedroom had two wardrobes with plenty of hanging space, a chest of drawers a big king size bed, a table and two chairs, a dressing table with a TV. Sports and Films, but only Sky News in English. However, the light was good in the room, Minibar which had beer and snack. These were slightly more expensive but not extortionate. The room did include a breakfast and I must say this was very good. Tea/Coff were well provided for. Fresh Pastries, bread, lots of different hams and Cheese. Bacon sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, sliced melon, yoghurt, cereals a very good selection of pastries, and home made biscuits. Plenty of choice and replenished as it ran out. You could order an expresso or cappuccino or there was a vending machine, but the quality of the coffee was very good. However, there is is only one bar and it seemed under staffed. It took a long time to get a drink but this is the only option for coffee as you have no facilities in the room,. The staff were very helpful and were polite but I think some of the issues are down to not enough staff or the building itself. However, the price to stay was fair and for a 4 star, and to stay for a short time was ok. However, after a day in the Verona heat it would have been good to have a twin, but no pool only a garden and some chairs by the river, with fountains. The view from our room (220) was some sort of factory, so we must have been at the back of the hotel. Overall the bed was comfortable and the room was ok, and if they had sorted out the air conditioning and offered tea/coffee or had a separate place you could get this, this hotel would have been a lot better. We had a very nice overnight here while in transit. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us very welcome. The room was pleasant and spacious with good WiFi. I also liked the pretty fountains and outdoor space. We had a very pleasant meal in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed good wine with it. The breakfast was very busy but had everything needed and the staff were attentive and kept the dishes refilled. The coffee was also good. I would definitely stay here again. Collapse
