The location for us was PERFECT! We were attending an event on Canal Street, and wanted to be close by as we were three ladies, and all travelling in on the train. This couldn't have fit the bill any better! The staff were super friendly, and literally we could fall out of the event we were attending and into the hotel. Room was functional, bathroom was lovely! We had a triple room and the third bed was a camp style bed, not really what we expected and it made the room which was a double a little cramped and as for getting in and out of it... Don't ask! That was the only downside for us! Collapse
Great Hotel in the Heart of the Village

Clean Rooms, Friendly staff. As a Transvestite I was made to feel welcome and not judged at all... TV in room wasn't working, staff offered me a bottle of wine (which I declined). Ideal place for a night out in the Village

Stayed at Le Ville with a friend for one night. On arriving received a very warm welcome from the front desk. :-) received a bottle of wine and muffins. The room was compact but very clean. The beds were also very comfortable. Great to have the rainforest shower and also shampoo and soap already there. When we stayed on Sunday evening Room 14 it was very quiet considering it was Easter weekend! Thank you and will definitely be back again as I only live in Stoke on Trent however trains don’t run after 8 o’clock in the evening. Collapse

My partner and I booked this hotel for a few days while on a visit to Manchester. When we booked we checked for parking, this hotel clearly stated on the site that we went through-that the hotel had parking. Upon arrival we asked where the parking was as we could not find it. We was told they was a £15 fee, per day for the parking that had to be booked in advance! We showed the employee behind the desk the advertised site we booked with the evidence that what we was been told was not stated on the site. The employe ignored what we was saying and showed us something on his own computer that stated what he was saying about the parking, we told him his computer meant nothing to us as we booked through what we was showing him. His reply was to ignore what we was saying and tell us they had no parking left and we’d have to park somewhere else. It was 21:30 at night and we had to drive around Manchester to find parking. The parking added another £54 on our stay, the parking that was available was at least a mile walk back to our hotel. The price of the hotel was not cheap, we had found much cheaper, but because the hotel was advertised on the canal with room views of the canal, we booked. Our room was abnormally small, no wardrobe or draws, a wooden shelf to hang clothes on. The dressing table was so tiny, and the space that was available for my things, was taken up with a try with a kettle, cups and tea and coffee. Literally no room for anything. I couldn’t even put the tray on the floor as that would have blocked the, already tight walking area. The shower was broken and leaking, it had a two part shower, with no choice but to use the one that worked, however having said that, the shower was nice a powerful and easy to use. Our view was of a wall that I could touch when I put my hand out the window, and below was a dirt ally! The only reason we chose this hotel was for the view. We never got anything like advertised. Impossible to have a good nights sleep as you can hear every single person going in and out. Bed was comfortable, although very very small double. Our room was super clean, sheets and towels spotless. Staff we met was okay and friendly enough. Is this hotel worth the price- absolutely not. Would I stay again? If it was free. Collapse

Super friendly welcome! Spotlessly clean, compact double room with everything you’d need- including a fan and very quiet with the secondary glazing. I loved the cool mood lighting! Very convenient for what I wanted. Bad points (bear in mind I liked the hotel and will be back!) 1. Good blackout curtains- but they light leaks in around them due to the curtain pole- I’d suggest curtain tracks and some magnetic tape along the edges. 2. The light leaking around the door- better door seal needed- maybe a rubber strip? 3. Please get some blankets, I was a little cold personally! 4. This is my major grumble- the emergency lighting: WHY is there an emergency light IN the room? I’ve never seen this setup in my life! Bin them off... please! Trying to sleep with that on... the green light telling you there is power to the emergency light fitting... it lights the room right up, in fact- as well as the lovely blue mood lighting... but the green is truly awful!! I’ll be bringing tape and a bin bag to stick over it next time!!! Overall- this is a great concept hotel- almost Asian simplicity of service- spotlessly clean & contemporary- I really liked it- everything you need and nothing you don’t! Viva Le Ville! Collapse
